I love Chef Chang’s because the people are always very welcoming and nice. The only dishes I’ve ever had here that I didn’t like were the lo mein and only because the noodles are cooked too long and the beef dishes. The beef here is not my favorite, but that’s personal taste. The fried rice is always good, we’ve had their sweet and sour chicken a few times, always crispy, not doughy like other places I’ve been to. We are repeat customers because we’ve always had quality food and service. There’s always dishes you find you don’t like in Chinese restaurants so I don’t fault them for those. The taste of the food here is on par for best in Columbus, in my opinion. I’ve also never had dirty anything come from their kitchen. It’s always very clean!

Decided to try the jampong for something different. It is a spicy seafood noodle soup. They make it fresh so expect to wait a little longer, but it was definitely worth the wait. The bowl was huge. The broth was spicy but very tasty, and the shrimp, mollusks and octopus were all very tasty. The udon was very tasty, and cooked just right. I could not finish the entire bowl but ate almost all of it because it tasted so good. I noticed the Korean items weren’t on the dinner menu but they are listed online. A bowl of kimchi came with the jampong and it was very good. Overall, a delicious meal and very reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. I don’t think you can leave here hungry.

Always delicious and much better than Chef Lee’s. The price is reasonable considering the portion sizes.

First of all, the restarant is clean, and service is good. We ordered the sweet and sour pork(korean-style) and it did not disappoint. The sauce was flavorful, the pork was delicious and it came with plenty of veggies for those that prefer them over the meat. Afterwards I ordered the Mongolian Beef while the rest of our party ordered the Changpong(spicy seafood noodle soup). The beef was good and did not skimp out on the quantity, but it is a bit too rich to eat without anything else, and the restaurant provides fried rice to go with it. This restaurant is known for their spicy soup and the sweet sour pork and it did not disappoint. The soup was very good, just the right amount of spicy and the broth was very tasty. The noodles were yummy and the seafood excellent. Overall this place is one of the better Chinese/Korean restaunrants in the Columbus area and I highly recommend anyone craving chinese to pay a visit!

Ordered the sweet and sour pork(korean-style) and the«char chang mien» or jjajangmyun(I’ve seen it romanized the latter way) Jjajangmyun for those not familiar is a Korean-Chinese dish — it has thick noodles with a black bean sauce(the sauce for the basic version has stir-fried pork, zucchini, and onions and sometimes potatoes, but no in this one). IT’S SOCARBYANDONIONYANDDELICIOUS. I used to get cravings for it when I lived in VA, and the place up there is on par with the one here(which surprised me, because Columbus). The sweet and sour pork«korean-style» is small pieces of pork fried in a delicious crunchy batter. I’ve had it before a few times and never really cared for it, but I wanted to give it another chance because I’ve heard that it’s really good. The sweet and sour pork here was the best I’ve ever had. The only con was that the pork was a little dry, but the sauce was so delicious. It was sweet, but not without flavor(you could taste the ginger) and it was a good portion. Next on the list to try is the jjampong(spicy seafood noodle soup). I hope it’s as good as the other dishes I’ve tried from here!

This place was recommended to me by a close friend and it was my first time going, she absolutely raved how about being able to find a good Chinese restaurant and she was right on the money! The waitress who served us remembered her from before, was very kind and friendly and the food was amazing! We had chicken and broccoli as well as General Tso’s chicken with steamed fried rice and it was beautifully served looked amazing and tasted even better! I believe they do take out as well but I have not had the opportunity to try that amenity. It’s a nice sit down place and a bit pricey but a great place to go for middle of the week Restaurant outing!

This place was delicious! We were traveling through and stopped. I had the wonton soup and beef/chicken lo mein. I am so happy and satisfied. They also had a few korean options like bulgogi and seafood soups. I don’t know why the first reviews were so bad? It may have changed or been remodeled, BUT it is now pleasently clean and tasty!!! :D lots of flavor and sesame oil! recommend to all.

DISCUSTING and DIRTY. They do not wash their dishes and cups properly. I ordered Jajangmyun and a piece of dish cleaning sponge was found in the food. About week after that, my friend who did not listen to my warning about their discusting foods had exactly same problem. On their cup, there was a lipstik mark. The food is too salty and they use old vegitables.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants here in Columbus, Ga. The food is fresh, has a lot of vegetables. It’s not greasy and loaded with soy sauce. My favorite meal is Mongolian combination, I highly recommend it! Friendly staff as well.

This is hands down the best Chinese food I have ever had. Everything is made fresh to order and you get very large portions. I wish they had combinations for dinner that would include a soup and eggroll. They use very high quality meats. They also have some delightful authentic dishes. The General Tso chick is the best I have ever eaten. Chef Lee or PF Changs are not as good as this place. The environment may not be fancy, but it is awesome chinese food.

My husband and have been on the search for a good Chinese place since moving to the area. I think we can stop the search. We dined in. The plates were served ‘Family’ style. That makes it pleasant to share different items. We got the General Tso’s Chicken and the Mongolian Beef. Along with the House fried rice. The rice didn’t have veggies in it, just egg, but it was fine. The Chicken was very good. Not so spicy at first but it creeps up on you. Yummy. It was the first time I’ve had Mongolian Beef but I will definitely look forward to it again. The Crab Rangoon was good and the vegetable egg rolls were good as well. I’m getting a to-go menu as I leave. . If you like veggies in your rice, then get shrimp, pork or chicken and it will have veggies. Moderately priced. I felt it was worth it.

Seriously the worst Chinese food me and my husband have ever had. He ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was over-priced considering it consisted of more than half vegetables — which I’ve personally never even seen come with sweet and sour chicken. They put the sauce directly on it and poorly packaged it, causing it to leak out everywhere. I ordered the chicken lo mein which also came with a load of vegetables I’ve never seen come with the dish(broccoli, uncooked carrots, and mushrooms). That didn’t bother me so much as the fact it was so greasy it was almost not edible. Also over-priced. We also both got an order of fried rice, which seemed to be just plain rice that they just threw in some oil in a pan for a couple minutes — this was the one thing that was supposed to have vegetables in it and there was nothing! No seasoning, no vegetables, no flavor — just greasy. The only good thing I can say about this place is that it was very fast(we ordered pick up). That alone is surely not enough to bring us back though. I wouldn’t give this place a second try if the food was free.
