I don’t live in Columbus anymore, but when I did, this place was my savior. The dishes are usually very good, and both the regular prices and the combos are excellent.
It is also one of the few places in Columbus that opens until later at night and they have a very easy system where you can order online and pick it up.
My biggest draw is their Hot and Sour soup. Every single time I visit a Chinese restaurant I tried that soup, and it never tastes as good as the one from China Royal.

The Best Chinese food, and you get a lot for your money. I never finish all of my food and they have these great reheat– able plastic containers the food comes in. I usually get their platters that come with a main dish, fried rice, and an egg roll/​drink.
They also have the BEST pot stickers/​fried dumplings. The Chinese donuts are great too!
I stayed in Starkville and would frequently take the 20 minute drive to Columbus just for their food. I haven’t had any Chinese food in the Jackson area that can compete. I miss it so much!
