This place was incredible! The food was authentic and delicious and I loved the dark pub atmosphere. Will definitely be making this a regular place!:)

So way back in the day I used to frequent this place. Loved it! Then a few years ago we took some friends from out of town here for some drinks on a Saturday night and they had dance music and a disco ball. What the? It is an Irish Pub with a pub type atmosphere. We were pretty embarrassed and apologized to the friends and hadn’t been back since. Fast forward to November this year– we decided to stop in on a random weekday to grab a couple drinks and started chatting up the bartender. Found out that they had stopped doing«cliché» bar nights to attract customers and are back to just being the Irish pub I loved. Since that night, we’ve been back a few times and love it all over again. On Mondays they do BOGO fish & chips dinners. Can’t beat that! The drinks are good, the food is good, the atmosphere is what it should be.

Short version: Gross food, indifferent service. We had airline chicken in a bland sauce and stew that honestly reminded me of Alpo dog food. I am never harsh on restaurants but this meal was truly awful. Add in the loud f bombs we could hear coming from the kitchen and, yeah, not even Guinness on tap will bring me back. I need to eat something else to get the taste memory out if my head.

Fish and chips… nuff said. Get it and you won’t be disappointed. Nicely decorated. Waitress was fast and efficient. Will try to come back in the evening when I am back in Columbus.

The usual irish pub scenery, nice outdoor patio but overall comforting. Came with some friends so we had a nice private room in the back to ourselves. The waitress was nice, gave us some good info on the menu. I’m a big fan of meatloaves, the waitress said that it was a customer favorite so I decided to get it, big mistake. For a slow night, the food took a while and when the meatloaves came out they were a bit deceiving. You get two large loaves, but once I got half way through it I noticed that the underside was burnt to a crisp. Both loaves were burnt to a crisp. I informed the waitress, she said she couldn’t really do much since I ate half of it already but she could put another order in but it was already getting late so I passed on it. The loaves weren’t flavorful, you couldn’t taste much. I shaved the burnt portion off and tried to enjoy what leftover pieces I could. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were good though. My friends got the burgers, I suggest that instead of the meatloaves. To help get the burnt taste out of my mouth, I ordered the banoffee pie. Now that was delicious, that was probably the only reason that I gave them a second star.

I have been here so many times in my 8 years in this city, I can’t even count. I have a soft spot in my heart for this establishment. First of all, they have an awesome happy hour. The drink prices and food specials are great. It is also a huge space. There are multiple bars inside as well as ample seating and two rarely crowded patios. I have never had bad service at this location. In fact, I even held my going away party here before I went to my basic training. They reserved a section for me and provided me with $ 500 worth of free finger foods for giving them my business card earlier that month. I recommend their St Patrick’s Day party as well as It is an experience to remember. They also often have live music which is really fun. Parking can be a pain in the neck for people who aren’t close enough to walk(like me) but I have always had a nice time here.

Food was good. Atmosphere was very relaxing and homey! The descriptions on the menu are amazing but doesn’t make the expectations.

Great Irish Pub atmosphere. The bartender, Nick, is a cheerful and pleasant fellow. I had the fish and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly. The chips are a wedge style with a crisp exterior and wonderfully seasoned. They have two ciders on tap earning them an extra star in my book. I tried the Magners Irish cider, but I did not care for it. It isn’t offputtinh, rather it is too mild for my taste. It is more like a Stella Cidré than an angry orchard. Luckily they had Angry Orchard on tap as well. The Irish music and general décor were very comforting after a long travel day. If you are looking for a comfortable and casual place then you won’t go wrong here.

Great food, great specials, even better happy hour. Have been here quite a bit since moving to the area last year. The food is always great here, service is a hit or miss. Usually not very busy but always very slow. Only place I’ve ever been for drinks that I have had to consistently ask for a refill. Great place, food and concept. just still haven’t figured out the personnel.

Came here for my birthday with my family(5 people total) because I’m a big fan of pubs and had never been here. We got here around 7pm on a Wednesday. There were only a couple of tables with people and two couples at the bar. We stood by the host station for quite a while before someone even acknowledged us. Our orders were taken right away and our drinks and appetizers didn’t take long. No one else came in during this time so it was still pretty empty. It took a long time for our refill and my brother waited 45 minutes for his coke. :/We ordered a few minutes after we ordered our appetizers but our food didn’t come out for over an hour. My irish breakfast had a plastic ring in it. :/When our waiter finally came back we showed him and he stumbled back to the kitchen with it. We haven’t seen him for 20 minutes though I can see him flit around sometimes talking to other employees. Overall very dissapointed. The food was pretty good. I think I’ll just stick to Fado’s. :( Edit: I spent some time after this watching around the restaraunt. I do want to a knowledge out waiter. He seems to be the only one on the floor despite there seeming to be two othe waitresses here. I can understand a lot of his frazzledness and he was very nice. Also who knows if the two other tables here were being difficult or not. So I up it a star for him.

If you go here, go for Happy Hour. I don’t think I’d go during normal business hours since their food was just okay. But, you can’t beat $ 1 well drinks. I had two gin and tonics that weren’t too bad for well gin. Each of us got a different appetizer since they were each $ 5 too. The pub chips were okay and I had the corned beef rolls which were bland. As Jillian stated, our server looked awfully pale and overwhelmed at times. It took almost an hour for one us to order a second beer by the time he came back around. We were in a larger group but nothing out of the ordinary. He was friendly but maybe a little inexperienced for large groups. I don’t really have much more to say other than you can’t beat their happy hour prices. I would go back to sit on their patio for a beer but that’s about it.

Great happy hour specials here! From 4−6pm, they offer $ 5 appetizers, $ 4 house wine, $ 3 domestic drafts, $ 2 domestic bottles, and $ 1 well drinks(5−4−3−2−1). I can’t think of too many places in Columbus that offer $ 1 well drinks! Total steal. The appetizers here are a good deal at the discounted price, but some I think wouldn’t be worth it at full price. For example, the pub chips are essentially a bowl of cheese fries, which I wouldn’t be too excited about if they were $ 9.99. Lisa P. had the corned beef and cabbage rolls, and they were just okay. The sauce/drizzle was zesty, but the rolls themselves didn’t have too much flavor. We were here with a group of over 14 people, and our server seemed a little overwhelmed. I think if we had either a more experienced server, or perhaps more than one server, our service would have been better. I haven’t eaten an entrée here in a long time, so I can’t speak to the quality of their non-appetizer food. I will say that we were there on their Lenten Fish Fry Friday, and the smell of fish was intoxicating. I would be interested in coming back on a Monday for their BOGO fish deal. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a good deal. The décor has the typical ‘hey look, we’re an Irish pub’ thing going on, which is fine. It was really cold and drafty near the window seat, but it was also about 5 degrees outside so it’s hard to be overly critical about that. This place will probably never be my first choice, but it has enough redeeming qualities to never rule it out.

Decent food and went there twice in one day after visiting a customer across the street. For lunch I ordered the salmon and opted out of the garlic butter sauce as a means to do my customers a favor. Unfortunately and unbeknownst to me, it was poured over the side of peas and carrots it came with. Not any fault of their own, but would have though the server might of mentioned something since I opted out. No big deal. It also came with rice and sadly, that was bad — overlooked and mushy. The again, my mother-in-law is Irish and that’s how she cooks her food — maybe it’s just authentic. Damn, sorry, just broke a 2015 resolution not to be as snarky. They also could serve their Mac and cheese that day because apparently they burned it. A little odd since either they make one huge batch for the day or just so happened to be low on cheese that day. Truth be told, probably a good thing for me it wasn’t available for I would take my cholesterol to 400 or be asleep in my meeting halfway thru. Overall, food was decent but to me seemed like a very cool bar to grab a drink and catch up with friends and/or watch a game. I did the former with a coworker after our meeting and had an outstanding Columbus Brewing IPA on tap. I was really impressed and looking it up on , it got like a 92 not surprisingly. Decent place and will likely be a place for just beers and apps for me. My coworkers really liked it and one of them are there two days in a row. I guess my review is really not a knock against them, but their foods not really my style — for dinner and if I wanted to go to sleep in an hour maybe.

A place with character. Dark wood seating inside and an option to sit outdoors. My party of 4 sat in a private area, which was fun and different. Another nice touch was the live music. He took song requests, and his parents were sitting at the bar rooting him on. The live music and the friendliest of waitresses made this place feel homey. On to the food. I would say the food here was pretty average. We ordered: guinness onion soup, which was quite nice. The Irish breakfast, which really was just sausage, egg, and ham breakfast. Shepherd pie — which was good. Nothing to write home about, but couldn’t really complain about it either. Fish and chips. Fried crispy, tender and flaky inside. Pretty good.

I just had a pint of Guinness and some Fish and Chips at Gladdagh’s Irish Pub. Overall, a bit overpriced for just average food. Don’t get me wrong, the restaurant’s interior and atmosphere are nice. The service was also efficient and pleasant today. The food was just average though and for $ 14.99, I was expecting a bit more from the Fish and Chips. The wedge fries were a pleasant change from your typical french fries, but besides that, everything else was unremarkable including the fish itself and the coleslaw. Monday’s is buy one get one free for Fish and Chips, so I guess that’s a deal as long as you have friends who want to order the same dish. I might be back to try other food items, but not for their Fish and Chips.

Located in the Brewery Distract Claddagh is an Irish Pub offering various types of delicious food. Im not sure how crowed the pub gets on weekends but I arrive to a fairly small crowd. i was greet promptly and seated, My first encounter with pub I was intoxicated by Jameson burger. A beef burger smothered in Irish cheddar cheese sauce, onion straws and the oh so additive Jameson glaze. The sauce and cheese worked well with a slight seasoned beef burger, perfectly delicious. The ultimate YOLO meal. whats a YOLO meal? You Only Live Once meal. Im sure we all try to eat healthy on a daily, but once or twice a week their is always time to forget healthy eating and counting calories. Want an awesome forget calorie meal? This is it! I also enjoyed a Red Headed Sunset. according to the menu its described as a strawberry-kiwi vodka, lemonade, lime juice & crushed strawberries, finished with a lime wheel & more crushed strawberries. I didnt have crushed strawberries or a lime but that didnt matter. The drink was wonderful, Its a great drink on a summer day on the patio. My second visit I had a Paddy mac corned beet, coleslaw, cheeses grilled on marble rye, another meal that will leave you pleasantly filled.

Service was good, but food was only alright. I don’t remember the dish name but I got salmon and broccoli on rice. Some pieces of rice was undercooked, the salmon was a bit rough, and the broccolis’ texture is like a heated frozen dinner. Overall, the place is really pub quality. Get your carb appetizer and your drink.
