Columbus Riverwalk is a pristine and beautiful park in the heart of downtown Columbus, Mississippi. I love going for walks/runs down the miles of trail that starts at the river and go into a serene woods setting. There’s plenty of parking, a boat ramp, places to do some fishing, and picnic tables! It’s also a very pet friendly park! The Riverwalk is also a fun place to host events, both for the city and privately. The new, state of the art bridge has a stage set up beneath it with lights and is the perfect place for a concert. The grass area in front of the stage is like an amphitheater of sorts, where people can bring their own chairs and enjoy the atmosphere. Lastly, there’s a brand new foot bridge that takes you across main street and directly to Columbus’ soccer fields and the Hitching Lot Farmer’s Market on summery weekends!
