Cookie Cutters

Went there for my sons first cut. We didn’t ha e an apt but we’re able to squeeze us in within a half hour of our arrival for a walk-​in apt. Our girl was patient and steady with our little wiggle bug. The cut came out amazing. Best of all it was only $ 10 for the first cut experience, which included a picture and his locks.

Wow! I took my 8 year old son in to get a haircut here (only place we go) and I had my 9 month old I needed to keep occupied while we waited. We got there 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment and then waited 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time before finally deciding to leave. The real problem is that a child who got there after we did was seen before we were. Poor customer service, we will not return!

First time here. Took our 1 ½ year old son to get his hair cut. The lady that took care of us was a seasoned professional when «dealing» with screaming kids. Made the process a lot more manageable for us. Needless to say … so far so good. We’ll be back.

Walked in at 2:24…place is totally empty, she tells me they have an opening at 3pm as this is their lunch break! Wth!

This establishment is excellent for children. At first I was bringing my son to the barbershop with me but he always cried and screamed. This was from 1 — 2 years old. At 2 I gave this location of Cookie Cutters a try and he loved it. We’ve been coming back for the last two years! From the play area to the video games and the choices of DVD’s to watch while he gets his haircut. He loves all of it. The stylists know they have a limited time and attention span with each child and they do an excellent job of giving quick and good looking haircuts. My son would probably look like a young Sammy Hagar without this place!

I’ve brought my boys a few times here — my ex has a problem with them for whatever reason, but the ladies here have always been friendly and accommodating, even when my boys are not.
The TV/​DVD combos, the video games, and the play place make the wait non-​existent. It’s a great place to bring your kids for a cut.
However, the PARKING you need to be attentive — some people seem to use it as a cut around for the light. Hold your kiddos close and watch out for asshole drivers.

I love this place, for my kids. I’ve not needed a professional haircut for about six years, and will not until I break down and go to hair club.
Anywho, yeah this place has everything a kid would want in a salon. Cool chairs to sit in like airplanes, horses, and firetrucks. Each chair has a tv/​DVD combo and the kids can choose whatever they want to watch from a huge book of movies. Video games to play while they wait. Really friendly people working there that seem to enjoy being around kids. Oh, and haircuts.
It’s a little pricey, but I’m sure if I tried to take them to the small Italian barbershop my dad took me to as a kid they would be much less cooperative. They have a punch card anyway. $ 2 off your second visit and it gets better from there!

My son has been getting his hair cut here since he was about 9 months old. His first few experiences were traumatic (for everyone involved), but he has come to love the trip to Cookie Cutters over the last year or so. They always do a great job and it’s a perfect set up for kids.
Heck, if I could play videogames while getting my hair cut without my wife rolling her eyes at me, I’d come here, too.
