Super good food. Priced well. I enjoyed my blackberry iced tea tremendously! And they never allow your glass to get empty. The biscuits… LORDHAVEMERCY and they have real butter!!! The fried chicken tenderloins were great. We tried the cheesy grits and fried okra! See my picture. One of the okra pieces was a hidden Mickey! The peach cobbler is amazing!!! And the no sugar added apple pie is DIVINE!!! Their store is off the hook! Whoever does their buying deserves a pat on the back. Every single thing is lovely.

I honestly don’t know what the fuss is about… at least my experience at this location(food wise) wasn’t as heavenly as others have made it seemed. The food(both mine and my husband’s) was less than bland, I asked for my steak to be Medium-well and it was completely well, my hubby’s chicken was okay, the carrots were over cooked and the corn muffins were soo dry and taste less. The best part was the friendly service but unfortunately friendliness doesn’t get my tummy full. I don’t think I’m coming back.

The worst experience at a Cracker Barrel so far… doesn’t even deserve the 1 star rating. Once seated, a 30 minute wait, took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. They were out of half the drinks we wanted… then took another 30 minutes to get our food. Didn’t have clean silverware so they gave us plastic silverware. Biscuits weren’t cooked either as well as missing half my meal when it came out. The waitress was nice and it wasn’t her fault, but the management needs to do their job. They need to train the bus staff, kitchen, and also take some leadership 101 classes. When I discussed the issues with the manager, he looked overwhelmed and made excuses that he was trying. It’s not your job to make excuses… it’s your job to inspire your team to deliver results. Won’t be coming back there again…

Taste: B Quality: B– Service: B+ Cost: B– Cleanliness: A– I ordered the pacific salmon patties. For the price of $ 9(with tax) and tip, you get two small patties that the average person can wolf down in 2 – 3 bites. The meal is much too small to satisfy the average hungry person. Their cranberry apple tea($ 3) lacks any distinctive taste. And they water it down by filling 2⁄3 of the glass with ice. At least it is unlimited refills! Service was actually pretty good. When I asked for a cup of ice tea to go, the server was happy to oblige. Overall though: The small portions and mediocre taste/quality did not warrant the cost of the meal. I will probably not be coming back.

When we first went to CB here in Columbus, Ga., it was great. Now, I don’t know what happened. The staff, service and food fell off. Today, we were greeted as usual. The hostess told another person that worked there(Autumn), to sit us down. She gave my wife a dirty a$$ look, sat us down, and proceeded to give her that same look as if we inconvenienced her. My wife asked me if she was doing it, I said yes, I saw it. Next, I understand that it was crowded but not so much were it’s packed. So 15 minutes later, a waitresses finally came through. Got our drinks and order taken. About 20 minutes into waiting, I noticed that we did not get served the complimentary biscuits/cornbread. I noticed that table next to us was served. Whatever. Fine. Food came out. The waitress says, that she just found out that they ran out of sweet potatoes… again(they did last time we were there). With the lunch we ordered, she gave us 2 biscuits. Keep in mind, our orders had the option of biscuits or cornbread. So two(2) biscuits came out. I was like, ok, maybe she’ll bring out more. She never did. So one biscuit each??? Wtf? Then we asked for butter, she brought 2 packs!!! I gave my wife that«wtf» look as she did the same. When we got done, check came with a quickness. And no… I didn’t tip. That’s been a first for me not tipping. Change the manager!!! This place sucks now. Food is mediocre!

The food was terrible. The hash brown casserole tasted freezer burnt. The only decent thing was the macaroni and cheese

Well at first look the parking lot was packed but once you got past all the ridiculously packed and cluttered store to the front check in for the restaurant it was a short wait for the 5 of us! Service was so so as she forgot my salad and silverware and water at first ! Over all ok but worth a shot! Food was pretty good

I’ve never ever had a bad experience here. There has never been a wait time and the service is wonderful. You order almost as soon as you sit down if you don’t need any more time, and they have it out to you in around 10 minutes. My favorite is the open-faced roast beef sandwich, so good! And they have the best sweet tea around.

Food poisoning. The service was good however when we received our food there was a strange odor coming from my plate of eggs, ham, bacon and their casserole. My son’s french toast looked liked it was dipped in just egg and lacked any flavor. To make a long story short we barely made it home before both of our stomachs turned upside down. Btw, the silverware and plate felt pretty gross. Like they couldn’t get the crusty bits off of them.

The good part was the pecan crusted catfish I ate. Very good and healthy dish. It tasted very good and the other two people eating with me loved their country fried steak also. It is a nice enough place. Great location. We did have to wait nearly an hour to be seated though. Then some of the silverware was not very clean, so we had to send that back. It took about 30 minutes for out meal to be prepared. Not bad, but not great experience.

The food here is to die for. It’s delicious. It was my first time trying it and the way everything is cooked and seasoned is to perfection. Grilled chicken salad was delicious. Chopped marinated grilled chicken with grape tomatoes and shredded Colby cheese comes with traditional deviled eggs, a wedge of Colby cheese and their own sourdough croutons. I got ranch dressing with mine it was absolutely delicious. Baked sweet potato was to die for. It’s a little smaller but you don’t need more than that. It’s served with butter and brown sugar. Sweet whole baby carrots were just as good. I wish they had a cracker barrel on the west coast but it’s and east coast thing. Everything is seasoned just perfectly couldn’t have gone to a better place for a healthy dinner.

Eh. All the cracker barrels are the same. Service is fair at best, the food is decent. I prefer the blueberry pancakes when I go. The biscuits are the best thing on the menu. They make all their money from the store. You have to walk thru their to pay and leave, and the kids love throwing fits when they can’t have a toy.

Our waitress was very friendly, but our food took about 40 minutes and it was breakfast, not that complicated. The table next to ours received their food and was finished by the time ours arrived. They had been seated after us. My daughter accidentally knocked over my coffee and we has to sit with it in a puddle under our table because no one came to clean it up even after we requested them to. All we received was a pile of napkins. The manager stood at the door to the kitchen the entire time we were there looking bored. The food was abundant but nothing special. Granted, we did come at rush hour on Saturday morning, which is why I gave them 2 instead of 1 star.

Just stopped by for a dinner with friends before heading back to Atlanta. When the orders came out, mine was missing. I was told they ran out of the oven roasted chicken that I ordered. Why this wasnt communicated to me prior to everyone’s food came out, I’m not sure. The waitress said she’d send the manager over. When he came over, he says«I was told someone wanted me at this table». No… the waitress said she’d send you. I explain I didnt get my order, to which he replies. «Oh yeah, we don’t serve that». Then asks, «well do you want a dessert or something?» Really, why is it on the menu then? I got a free dessert after deciding I didn’t want to order a whole new meal and wait another 30 minutes while my group was already done eating. The manager really should take a lesson on talking to customers. I’ve been a manager at a food establishment. If you are in the wrong, make a little more of an effort to correct it. And take the items off the menu if you don’t serve them! First time I’ve ever had a bad experience at a cracker barrel. It should be noted the waitress was nice, along with the other staff. Get a new manager.

Coming back from the work site my work mates & I needed something good, fast, and tasty. Usually you can can only two right? I ordered the Wednesday lunch special of chicken pot pie. We were seated, ordered, and food delivered in less than 10 minutes. The pot pie wasn’t the best I ever had. Although iIt was pretty good and hit the spot. The lunch special was also only $ 5.99, so it definitely did not hurt the ol’ wallet. By habit I think of Cracker Barrel for road trips, but I now have one only 30 minutes away. Definitely have to put it into my rotation. Someplace to recommend and repeat!

I’m a cheater. For Lent, I gave up all meat with the exception of seafood. However, there was no way, I was going without trying that country ham. So, I prayed over it and placed my order for Uncle Herschel’s Favorite meal. I could have chosen either fried fish or grilled fish with that option, but again, there is no way I was passing up that ham. We were in the area for my son graduation from basic training in Fort Benning along with six other people and everyone was starved. We were sat immediately and almost just as fast, Linda, our server came over and took our drink request. We were initially given lunch/dinner menus, but after inquiring we found out that we could also get breakfast. I love a place that serves breakfast around the clock. Everyone placed their order and there was no delay in having it come to the table. All the food was hot, and prepared as we ordered it. Noone’s food was wrong, and in this day and time, thats an oddity with a table of seven. It seemed like we had biscuits for an eternity. Not only did most of the meals come with biscuits, but someone order an entire plate of biscuits. We requested a few more syrup bottles and there was nan biscuit left when we left the place. Linda came by the table an appropriate number of times to make sure we had everything we needed. Kept our glasses filled with water, ice teas and raspberry lemonades. Best of all, I think was that a tab for 7 people came up to right at $ 80. Where in the world does that ever happen any more??? The old time country store is not how I recall it. I was shocked at the $ 80 lace shirt and thought some of the other trinkets were kinda pricey. I mean, I just fed 7 people for $ 80, I wouldn’t expect to buy a shirt while I was checking out of the same place at that same price. My daughter inhaled the meat loaf within moments, and one of the other soldiers that was hanging out with us finished off a plate of french toast so fast, I thought my lawd, this boy is starving. A southern classic. 33 of 100

Good ol country yumminess. I was in Columbus for a Army graduation the day before thanksgiving and cracker barrel became our thanksgiving dinner location. I shared the sampler with my aunt which was a slice of ham, meatloaf, and chicken and dumplings along with fried okra greens and mac and cheese, they also brought biscuits and corn bread to our table. My favs were the meatloaf, chicken and dumplings and I loved the fried okra w/ranch. I stay far away from sweet tea but their unsweet iced tea was fresh brewed and pretty good. The place has so much southern charm, the little store front is super cute with southern delights for sale, and I loved the red GEORGIA rocking chairs on their porch. Their service was awesome everyone was friendly and attentive. If I’m ever in the south again I’d come back.

Took my kids when it wasn’t busy and our waitress never brought out our drinks, and had to get another waitress after waiting a full 30 minutes. Food was not as good as the Louisiana restaurants I’ve been to.
