Crazy Mullets is another Cleveland original that has branched out to Columbus. It’s a little cheaper than a number of salons and I’ve been to and I’ve always been happy with results whether I wanted my hair shorter or to keep it a bit on the long side. And you have to love all of the mullet cut outs plastered everywhere: I’ve been tempted to get one when my hair is long enough, but don’t have the guts.

I just moved back to Columbus, and when I saw Crazy Mullets it seemed like it would offer a bit of funk.
The haircut I got there was alright, not terrible. But when I wanted some pieces of hot pink put in my hair, it was a huge letdown. When I walked out of there, the pink was mediocre at best, not very bright. Three days later, and the color is almost entirely gone, even though my hair normally takes dye really well.
This place seems fine for a normal haircut, but other than its interior decoration there was nothing crazy about it. I’ll continue shopping for a good salon.
