Tried for the first time tonight. It’s a neighborhood family operation so that would be reason enough to give them a try, but the sauce was top shelf, and they didn’t skimp on the other ingredients on the pie either. The crew and shop was quick, clean, and friendly which is refreshing. Pizza is a ‘go to’ fast meal in our house so we’re glad this place is close.

Brand new enterprise, hidden in a strip mall on the north side of Schrock, under a sign that reads«Slice’s»(as of the writing of this review). Definitely worth a try if you’re curious, in the area, and tired of chains, and if it’s still November there’s a Grand Opening Special to take advantage of(a large for $ 8.95). On this occasion, only sampled the pizza and cinnamon breadsticks. Pizza has a very crisp crust, _very_fresh toppings, but perhaps a bit heavier on the sauce than my ideal. The breadsticks were fair, not greasy or as caked in cinnamon-sugar as the typical versions. The frosting it came with was a vast improvement over the usual sugar-water that tends to accompany these things.
