I ordered the Pambazo, it was good but not like I wanna go back and order that item anytime soon. I’ve had his taco’s before and they were really good. Went up there late night cause they were open and the parking lot was crazy at 2:45am…

I stopped here last night while checking out the Continent. And i just happened to spot ”ham sandwich” on their menu board. So I ordered one and it was GREAT! It had ham and fresh pineapple, and avocado and lettuce, tomato and no telling what else on it but it was maybe the best ham sandwich I’ve ever eaten!

I’m gonna be quick, but whatever you order, don’t forget for the green sauce. That alone deserves a 5 star.

Heard alot about these taco trucks so i decided to try this one out. For my first visit i tried my hand at the pambazo. From what ive seen/heard this dish is absolutely amazing. Even though the truck was out of chorizo and potatoes(which are standard on this beast) i still got it anyway. This«handful» came with steak(my choice over chicken/beef), avocado, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese. Not to mention the signature red bread. For only $ 6.50 this tasty treat filled me up and left my hands drenched in red sauce, now i know why they gave me a fork. All in all it was a great experience. I did have to wait for about 5 – 10 mins but it was well worth it. Definitely going back to try more of the menu.

Our second Taco Truck stop. Easy to find using our Garmin, close to the road with a large parking lot it shares with some kind of scary looking bar. The Columbus Food Truck website screams about their awesome Pambazos, so we had to give it a try. It’s pretty much a huge torta where the bread has been dipped in bland red sauce, stuffed with potato cubes, chorizo, avocado, lettuce, tomato, melted cheese and sour cream. Very messy to eat. And it might have been worth it if the red sauce had been their mild or hot sauce, instead of a no-taste, but the stain the heck outta my fingers red sauce. Their chorizo taco was large, but suffered in comparison to the Taco Nazo chorizo we’d had 30 minutes previous. Very good hot sauce that sneaks up on you quick. Service was slower here and not as friendly. cash only

I hit Don Pedro’s while running around on errands, since I had to visit an office on Cleveland Ave. anyhow. I’d seen their truck a few times, but never seemed to be over when they were open and I had time to stop. Since I A) Had time, B) they were open, and C) Tacos sounded good, I went for it. Due to some rain earlier in the day, it seemed like I was the only person who had come out despite it being lunchtime, but that was OK. I was able to walk right up, order a few tacos(cecina, al pastor, and buche — sadly they had Lengua listed on the menu but none available), grab a bottle of water, and enjoy. The spicy green salsa was a great acidic finish for the tasty meat, and I really liked getting some sliced cucumbers instead of the usual pickled radishes I’ve gotten from other taco trucks. A cool bite was just what I needed to help keep my mouth happy as I nommed my way through each taco. I realize a 3 star probably seems a little low, but I don’t think it’s bad in this case. Don Pedro’s is a perfectly serviceable truck serving perfectly serviceable tacos for a good price. A-OK seems exactly the way to describe them. I’m not sure I’d drive all the way across town for them, but when you’re in the area, why not?

I should have pointed out that my original review was based on a visit from last October. I went back today after a trip to Home Depot to refresh my memory(and because I’d been craving taco truck, and if you read my reviews, you’ll have noticed that the last one I tried to go to no longer exists!!!). Gone were the English translations, which I see someone else noted recently! As I recall, previously it just took the form of Pastor/Pork, Lengua/Tongue, Pollo/Chicken, etc. But!!! There were even more drink options than last time, and I imagine they are what caused the English to get bumped off the board. Dudes, there were so many drinks I had a hard time deciding. I ultimately just ordered a bottle of Sangria Senorial, but there are at least three categories of different types of juice drinks they make, each with various flavors of its own, then all the somewhat standard Mexican bottled soda options, Jarritos(5 or 6 flavors), the Sangria, Mexican Coke(real cane sugar) and a few others. Crazy drink options. Also, I was wrong about the fish. Or if there was pescado last fall, there definitely isn’t right now. I could just be remembering wrong, but I swore I had fish tacos last time. They were also missing their hot pepper mix that I got last time. Anyway, today they were happy to make me a torta with beans, avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato and their spicy sauce. It was scrumptious! You could also probably get bean tacos or a bean burrito. It’s a street vendor… it’s not like just because it’s not on the menu means they can’t do it!

I don’t know how long this place has been around, but I just discovered it a few weeks ago and it’s a great find! I went here with a group of friends from work for lunch — don’t drive too fast or you will miss it(like we did the first time =)). One of the previous reviewers mentioned an English menu, but I definitely didn’t see one while we were there. Luckily I knew some Spanish, and one of the guys in our group knew a lot more for the less common things. Most of us got 3 tacos, which was just about perfect for hitting the lunch spot. My fave was the«loco». A couple people got burritos — which are seriously bigger than your head! Do not order anything else if you get one of these! But everyone agreed — all of the food was delicious! Not to mention really cheap! The place is a truck, so it’s just parked in a parking lot. But there are picnic benches for you to sit and eat at, which is nice. The only downside is there was only one lady working there making all the orders(at least that day). Luckily we got there right at the start of lunch and there was nobody ahead of us, but all the people that came after us had to wait a while.
