Had a good pizza from here last night. Though the staff seemed to be having some fun trying to guess who was coming in to pick up a particular order. It was a bit uncomfortable to my self and other customer. I will probably go to the Powell location in the future as it has a drive through, and live just as close to it as I do this one. So maybe at the drive through I won’t have to be sized up for my order.

Never again. Ordered the kids a few pies for a slumber party, not only were they to be desired looks AND taste wise, I was over charged! When I called the«customer service» line to get this resoved, they were less than friendly and seemed not to care at all about the fact the average consumer would be annoyed by this issue. Adiós Donatos!!! Bring on the local places, much claner and 100% nicer!

I have had the WORST2 experiences with the Donatos near me! A few weeks ago my food took over an hour and a half to show up, the pizza box was smashed up so bad it looked like someone stepped on it, my food was cold, then to top it off the delivery driver shorted me on my change. I’m positive he thought I wasn’t going to tip him because I was asking why my food took so long. I was going to tip him because it probably wasn’t even his fault, but the second I mentioned to him that he gave me the wrong change, he instantly knew the amount he was supposed to give me and had it in his hand which really made it seem fishy. After that he went to walk away with no tip, I stopped him and handed him $ 4 and he gave me back $ 2 and said he’d just take that. I called the Donatos and spoke to a young sounding male manager who went on and on for 10 minutes about how he does landscaping and only works there for some extra money and sometimes he does deliveries and people stiff him all the time(what this all had to do with my complaint… I have no idea!) He said he put a credit on my account for my next order. Fast forward to tonight… I called and they put another manager on the phone and surprise, surprise no credit showing on the account! She offered to take $ 2.50 off my order!!! What a slap in the face! I explained to her the situation about what happened and she then said ok I’ll take off $ 5 and said all credits are given right when something happens, not put on an account, but I had paid cash. What was so annoying was she cut me off and didn’t even acknowledge what I was saying, she just said«OK! I took $ 10 off so your total is $ 12! I don’t need to feel like I’m begging to negotiate a discount, I was only trying to get the credit I was offered! I ended up hanging up on her after dropping an F bomb I’m not proud of. I tried to call the 1−800-Donatos # but they’re closed so I left a message. I posted on their Facebook wall and got an auto response to call customer service. I’m beyond livid with this whole thing! There are at least 5 other pizza places near me who never take forever to show up and are always nice, I rarely order from Donatos and then get treated like some lying beggar or something! I ended up calling Jetts pizza, it arrived quick, hot and delicious and the driver was super nice and friendly! I emailed corporate too because the way they handled this is just ridiculous!

I ordered a pizza tonight with black olives, and accidentally pushed pickup instead of delivery. I called in, and requested delivery instead. In changing the order, the guy who answered the phone put in green olives into the computer. I called in as soon as I realized the error, explained that I wanted black olives instead of green. They advised they would remake the pizza and call before they left for the redelivery. An HOUR later, I called back, and was advised that they A) called my phone, and B) left a message. Neither of these things happened… no missed calls, and no voicemail. I’d had my phone in my hand the entire time waiting for the call. But… they went ahead and sent out the driver, who arrived with a cold pizza… with green olives again! I’m sorry, but this is not the first time I’ve received the wrong items on my pizza, and I’m done with it. Please read your orders more carefully!!!

2 hours for delivery in a random Thursday night. And the guy on the phone argues that I live down town when I told him my street address which is 3 blocks from this place. Never again.

When I was younger, Donatos was the best pizza around. The quality has been declining. I loved their thincrust pizza as a great alternative to the traditional hand tossed. Since Donatos has been established throughout all of Columbus, their quality has gone down. I don’t know why but my theory is that everyone loved it then they realized they could sell a lower quality for the same price and people would still buy it. I’ve been trying a lot of good local shops lately and haven’t eaten Donatos in a while. I had it today for the first time in a while and I’m just now realizing that Donatos isn’t good at all. There are lots of local chains and mom and pop shops in the area that sell good. The only reason why I ordered from Donatos today is because they have a website where you can enter e-coupons and with it it’s cheaper than other places like Ange’s, Carlucci’s, Massey’s, Tommy’s and Flyers, but it’s still more expensive than the other major chains. Probably won’t order ever again.

WORSTPLACEEVER. It’s a toss up between this one and the Bethel location for shittiest pizza joint. I ordered a pizza online and the website picked the Hard road location as the closest. 40 minutes later — and no pizza — I get a call asking me for the closest cross streets. I give it, they say«OK» and hang up. 15 minutes after that, I notice another missed phone call. I call back, I’m on hold for 10 before someone gets on and tells me their shop doesn’t deliver to this address, that it is supposed to be Bethel Road. I ask if he can they have a way to transfer the order — this is nearly an hour after I placed the initial order — and he begrudgingly says he will and asks me to hold. I was on hold for 7 minutes when either the called dropped or I was hung up on. I called the Bethel location asking if an order was placed for my name, the man confirmed it was. It took another 35 minutes to get the pizza out here, and the delivery driver was slightly rude and tried to claim that I was supposed to pay cash when they already charged the card! The pizza was old and tasted really strange — I was beyond nice the whole time, so if they did something to my pizza and I get sick I will flip out — and they were supposed to send 6 packets THAT I PAIDFOR but they only sent 1. So I called back and was placed on hold for another 15 minutes before they told me they would run the packets out. I told them to comp my packets, it would be silly for the guy to run it out and I don’t want charged. I think I am done ordering from Donatos. Their food has gone down in quality before this incident, but after dealing with the customer service, I’m just going to order from Jets from now on.
