I really like the idea of the Downtown Technology Center, and many of the businesses that maintain offices in the building are movers and shakers within the Central Ohio tech community. The building has a good sized training room that I believe can be rented out to non-tenants for use as well as a conference room. There’s also a nice conference room that has been used for some great happy hour events hosted by the businesses there. What has been disappointing about the Downtown Technology Center is the response time you receive from the building owner or site manager. At one time, I was very interested in seeking office space there, but could not get the building owner to return my phone calls or emails. And since I’m not in the habit of tracking down people to do business with them, I’ve moved on to explore other spaces. An additional thing I would welcome seeing given that there is some off the street parking, and the location is fairly easy to get to from either 70 or 71 downtown exits is more workshops and seminars offered to the public. I think that would be a great way to increase exposure for the facility and the tenants there.
