I went there twice in December and both times it was great. The steak on hot stone is by favorite dish as it allows you to cook your meat as you want. The sauces and are nice too. The beers they brew is pretty good as well. The ambiance is nice and I love the building and the fact they kept part of the original attributes of the space. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. :)

Had a great time at this brewery after a wedding. Tried the Dark Force(a little too dark for me but still tasty), the 3 Frogs IPA(very hoppy, ribbit), and the Mogabi(wheaty and citrussy). There’s a beer here for pretty much everyone. The venue is pretty simple but sufficient. There are a couple of wooden tables/chairs and a map where you can post your location of origin. Lotsa people from many different places! Very cool. Can’t wait to visit here again next time I’m in Columbus.

Like drinking with friends in the garage… with better beer. Classic game consoles available too.

Is this place the fanciest in town? Nope. Does it have the best beer in town? Possibly. The folks working the taproom are very nice and knowledgable about brewing. The best part about visiting the taproom is having the ability to get the seasonal beers.

There’s nothing that says a GREAT tap room like craft draughts, keg barrel seating, chatty bartenders and drinking in a garage. I really like how SIMPLE this place is. It’s in a pretty good spot right down from the recently opened Wolf Ridge off 4th street and it has a great selection of house draughts. We were on a brewery tour and this had to be one of my TOP favorite places that we visited! Beers are reasonably priced and it’s a very CHILL environment. One thing that worries me about this place is the winter season. It’s in a garage that I’m sure is going to be heated, but I have my hesitations. HOWEVER… that won’t stop me from going again! Beer of choice: 1810 Oktoberfest… Go drink! Also, shout out to Doug O. for such a great and thorough review!

I’ve been to the Elevator Draft Haus on High several times. Although it’s a beautiful space, I’ve never been a huge fan. The food is expensive, the place is often crowded, and it doesn’t really seem like a place to drink beer. However, the new tasting room Elevator has opened on 4th fixes all that. This is a cozy, down-to-earth spot where you can comfortably drink beer if you’re looking to have a few pints and try the brewery’s newest beers in a casual environment. There are about 8 stools built out of old kegs lining the bar, and then there are about 5 tables(mostly patio furniture) lining the floor, so it’s a small space, but just big enough to go with a few friends. The bartender happily chatted with people about the product while serving pints and filling growlers out of their Craft Tap system. There are about 12 beers on tap, room for all of Elevator’s regular beers and a few seasonals and one-offs. The decoration is minimal, but well done, with a few lamps made of old bourbon barrels over the bar and a wall of bourbon barrel slats by the door. This is a nice place to grab a beer or two, get a growler to go, and find out about the brewery’s newest releases. While the Draft Haus is more about being a restaurant, here it’s all about beer. Check it out.
