Came here last night with a few friends for some pizza. The deep dish was great and just what I was craving! The interior was fun and spacious. I’d like to return during happy hour. My only complaint is the service was extremely slow despite the restaurant not being busy.

Come here every time I go to Columbus. Great deep dish pizza. We always get a supreme and the rustica. If you go for late lunch on sunday the pizza is on special. Never had bad services. Great place.

Not bad for a little different pizza. Small pizza is prefect for two with an appetizer. Service could have been better. Went for dinner on a Sunday late afternoon and not too busy inside but we still had to wait a bit.

First let me say… I should have gotten Domino’s. I would have given in 0 stars but I had to give up something. First of all it’s not deep dish it’s pan pizza… you know like pizza hut. They used grocery store precooked and chopped chicken. Annnddd… they just through some whole cherry tomatoes on top. Oh and where is the red sauce? There was so much grease it was disgusting. I’m from Chicago and this pizza was a $ 23 insult. It was a pickup to go order. Had I noticed this impostor before I left the restaurant, I would have sent it back and exposed it for the poser it is! Hands down without a doubt NOTCHICAGOSTYLEPIZZA!

For once, I’m glad that we only got a small. These are words that I’ve never uttered before today about the second love of my life — pizza. On a rainy night in March, we stopped into a nearly empty restaurant. The bartender was attentive and nice so we put in an order for a small Chicago style pepperoni and cheese pizza. Unfortunately, after it arrived, I must admit that the best thing on the table was the shaker of parmesan. The pizza was hot and the ingredients seemed fresh; however, on my first piece I had a whopping 2 slices of pepperoni and 1 mushroom… and nearly half of it was crust. Pairing these facts with a canned tomato tasting sauce left us wanting more… of someone else’s pizza. It was only made passable by dipping the large amount of dough and crust into the Parmesan. This was a disappointing and pricey pizza.

The pizza is consistently tasty and the atmosphere is more low key for a pretty busy location. The service/bartenders have varied for me on my visits here. Some are friendly, helpful and kind. Others not so much. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants 3.5÷5 Chicago deep dish style pizza for a reasonable price in a low key environment.

We were told this was the best deep dish pizza in Columbus but you’re better off going to Pizzeria Uno in Tuttle Crossing. I don’t what kind of sausage was on the pizza, the crust was tasteless, too cheesy. My husband described it tasting like Dominos. Never coming back.

Ate here for the first time last night. A Friday night. A high school buddy of mine was in town for a conference. He contacted me at the last minute looking for something to do. So we went to a bar for a couple of drinks then came here and sat at the bar. Drank some beer and ordered a large supreme deep dish. It was awesome. Just the right thickness and texture. Toppings were really good. The atmosphere was cool too. Seemed to be a lot of younger locals just hanging out. Interesting conversations. Service was perfect. Just the right amount of attention. Good place. Will probably be back.

We ordered delivery to the Hilton. It arrived in the earlier part of the delivery window so that was a major plus. We ordered and lasagna pizza and cheese bread. Both were pretty good, but nothing terribly special. One really big downside of this place is parking. We finally gave up after looking for parking for 45 minutes, on a Saturday night but it is January. We ordered delivery instead.

Never in my life have I tasted anything so delicious!!! OMG the deep dish pizza that I had was ONPOINT! I drove from Powell on 315 to come up to the Short North to try this famous place. Let me say that when I walked in with my friends, the atmosphere was so comfortable. The drinks were high class and cheap in price. I ordered a build your own pizza with pepperoni, banana peppers and mushrooms. Omg to die for!!! I truly loved that it was hot, cheese was thick and the taste I can’t even describe. Every time I asked for wine, they filled it to the top of the glass. I mean huge glasses so that was nice. The chef came out and asked how our food was and of course I gave them 5 on 5 stars. I really enjoyed the bartenders and servers here. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the short north area for pizza. They also do delivery and takeout. It gets a little crowded on the weekend of. Course because it’s campus but if you’re lucky to park on the side of the building where the restaurant is, you’re good to go!!! I’ll be back for sure! Great service and quality of food!!!

Went here with the family one evening and I will never ever try to get 4 adults and 2 children to agree on a pizza order ever again! The night we were there the manager(I guess) told us he was sorry for the slow service as two folks had just quit. I was a bit nervous about staying after that revelation but we stayed. The man hustled as best he could and got us our drinks as he put in our pizza order. I wouldn’t recommend the Caesar salad here — entirely too oily — but while not Chicago deep dish it wasn’t bad pizza. It was thick and every combination that was ordered for our table was good and very filling. This place is for those who love a big thick slice and a beer. When we get the urge for a deep dish we will probably come back here if in the area.

I ordered through the Skip The Dishes site and got delivery, so I won’t comment on the ambiance of the restaurant. Let’s stick to the food… THEGOOD: You get a lot of food for a fairly decent price. While the pizzas didn’t feel like a true deep dish style to me, they were definitely close to it and were filling. I normally have a huge appetite, but 2 pieces of a large pizza were enough for me. THEBAD: The flavors seemed generic to me – almost like a national chain. The Italian sausage had a nearly identical flavor to Pizza Hut’s sausage – heavy on the fennel. The sauce was a pretty basic sauce that was a bit salty. THEUGLY: There was a full stem of a banana pepper left on the pizza and since I wasn’t paying attention I bit into it. Luckily I didn’t break a tooth.

First time here I fell in LOVE with their pizza. The atmosphere was good, not to busy or loud just casual. The pizza though is what got me. The cheese they use is made from the nectar of the GODS… semi deep dish style or deep dish non chicago style. I have been here thrice now and plan to come back many more times because I went into a cheese Coma every time.

Used Skip the Dish for this twice now and O-MAZING! Im not generally a fan of deep dish but this place might have converted me. Not too much sauce or chunks of tomato. Ive asked for extra cheese and gotten it in spades!!! The crust has a good flavor. Everything really comes together to make an exceptional pie.

Ok so I’m writing a quick review of this place because my friend Joe and I are headed there to pick up what will be my 2nd time having pizza here. And my mouth is watering and I cannot wait! I’ve been dreaming about it since the first time I had it. Lovely perfect crispity delicious crust, gorgeous yummy cheese that stretches just exactly right, the pepperoni are the small kind that curl up around the edges. I had never had a Chicago style pizza like this before i also dig the scenery in the actual establishment too. It’s cozy but not cramped. They have a blackboard menu type deal with specials listed. The service was pretty good as well although I did think it was a little slow it it may have been because I saw a pizza go by that I was sooooo hoping was for us that my heart broke a little when the waitress passed us by for another table You should do yourself a favor and check this pizza out with your mouth. You won’t regret it.

Fabian’s is the closest thing to a Chicago style deep dish pizza that you’ll get in Columbus, OH. There is street parking only, no parking lots since this is in the short north. The service is great, employees are quick to check in with you once you sit down. I’ve been here a couple times with groups of friends and on dates, it’s a great choice for either scenarios. I’ve tried the chicken pesto, the supreme and the hawaiian. I’m a fan of pineapples so the hawaiian was my favorite but they’re all good. The cheese is always still melting off since it comes in a hot platter. A large is good for like 4 – 5 people, a small is good for 2. All the ingredients are fresh, sauce is amazing, and the crust is thick and warm. I’ve come plenty of times before and I will continue to!

I used«skip the dishes» to order from here. Living in an «up and coming» neighborhood there aren’t a lot of delivery options. With this awesome service there now is for a nominal fee. 2.99 in this instance. I lived in Chicago for a very long time and like deep dish as an occasional treat but normally lean towards thin crust. Decided to give this a shot and I’m not disappointed. The small size is about 10 inches which gives you four really hearty pieces. I would like to compare it to Chicago and say it stands up perfectly well. On Sunday and Monday they have 5.00 small pizzas! AWESOME!

This was one of the stops for our St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl and my fourth time dining here. Every time we’ve been here, I’m impressed with the pizza. It is delicious. This time we had a group of twelve and everyone seemed happy with their food. I will warn you that since it is deep dish, it is heavy, heavy food and fills you up quick. We always end up with too much food. We did get an appetizer of medium wings and man, were they HOT. That is the hottest medium sauce I have ever had! We checked with our server to be sure we got the right thing and he said we did. Since this is deep dish pizza, it takes awhile to get your food, but as long as you know that ahead of time, then it isn’t a big deal. My personal favorite is just pesto sauce with mushrooms– LOVEIT!

This is my go-to place for pizza after a night out in the Short North. Who wants to wait in a ridiculous line for Mikey’s Late Night Slice when you could walk in to Fabian’s, sit down in an actual chair and get pizza for the same price?! On top of all that, this is Chicago deep dish pizza. It’s the only place I know of that has Chicago style pizza in Columbus, and I will attest to the fact that it’s actually good enough to eat when you’re sober!(I can’t say the same for Late Night Slice) They also have a pretty good selection of drinks and a good happy hour! Not the best service or quality food in the world, but it gets the job done.

As Columbus goes, this is very good and worthy of 5 stars. As Chicago goes, it’s just ok. Cheese and sauce are very good. Toppings are nothing special. I got the Italian pizza. The sausage was small and chopped up. Not chunks like a like. There was an ok amount of pepperoni, but not like Donato’s. Te crust was ok, but no cornmeal and no Papa Dells. Understand, this is a thick crust pizza, not a stuffed pizza. And they do not have thin crust.
