Faye’s is a really convenient little store to stop by if you’re in the neighborhood. I have made countless late night runs there for snacks, groceries, soda and booze. Like any convenience store, it’s terribly overpriced, maybe moreso than usual. However, some select items(beer!) will be cheaper than the Food Mart across the street, which I suppose is Faye’s competition when they’re both open(Faye’s is smaller but open later). Fort the most part I love this place, because it satisfies most any craving I get at most any time. They even started carrying Mountain Dew Voltage for me, my favorite fizzy drink. They have tamarind nectar and some other fun/hard-to-find items, too. The owner himself is pretty awesome, but sometimes his employees give me grief about minimum credit card purchases. I am not one to think ahead and buy the stuff I’m going to crave from the grocery store beforehand, so I’m a fan of Faye’s. They put quite a little hole in my wallet, but that’s more on me than anyone, I guess. Just remember it’s an option for your late night cravings!
