Just went for the first time today. The staff was super polite and efficient and the food tastes really good. The veggies are fresh and the falafel is nice and crispy. I took the food back to my office but the restaurant itself is comfortable as well with some nice Muzak streaming in. I’ll be going back.

My office just finished about 25 breakfast burritos from Grill & Grill. Their food is generally ok. Their breakfast burrito, not so much. It was basically a cilantro and corn in a wrap with 2 hot dogs and at least a shot glass of some watery goo. Just no.

I’ve been going to this place once or twice a week now for a month or so. It’s a fresh, healthy option for the downtown lunch scene. Pretty standard chipotle style fast food but for Mediterranean fare. The chicken has a lot of flavor and the sauce is pretty good too. The spicy chicken can be a little greasy at times. Also, I have no idea why other commenters would say the owner isn’t friendly. It’s normally the same two guys that work there and they are both very friendly. If you go early and it isn’t busy, they’re normally waiting by the door to welcome customers. Definitely worth a try!

This would be a great little place to have a basic quick lunch and spend an hour if it weren’t for the super rude owner. I am very sorry sir I offended you by patronizing your business today. And wake up call, if you broadcast your wifi signal your customers will ask for the password. This pretty mundane and routine question prompted much eye rolling and a curt response of «no» from the owner. There are plenty of burger and fry places, no need to endure more of your attitude.

We went in because it smelled good, but had to go to the bathroom so we decided to do that first. While waiting for someone who was with us to get out, the worker yelled at us saying it says on the door it isn’t a public bathroom! We said we were planning on getting something, cards in hand, yet even after saying that he continued to yell. While serving other guests, I might add! He basically chased us out the door! We in no way looked as though we weren’t going to order, but after the uncalled for blame we decided we would NOT be spending our money there.

Interesting food. Though the owner was really rude and impatient with all the customers, besides that place is okay. expensive place to enjoy gyro burritos.

Think a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. You get lots and lots of rice but just an average amount of protein. The chicken has pretty good flavor and the add-ons are fresh. Very limited on the sauces which makes every visit taste the same to me. I have been watching the lines getting smaller and smaller at lunch time so I can see this place closing its doors soon. Price is about average for downtown.

It’s assembly-line Greek/Mediterranean food, but the quality is good and the portions are large. I got the chicken kebab lavash wrap with toppings of my choice. Nice big chunks of well-seasoned meat. I left satisfied with my meal. The only reason I gave it an average rating is that these assembly-line, «Chipotle-style eateries are popping up everywhere, and no matter what kind of food you get, it’s basically stuff and sauce rolled up in some bread, or a bowl of the same, sans bread. Their interiors all seem about the same, too. Some are classier than others, but none of them are comfortable enough to make you want to stay too long. I’m sure it’s part of the assembly-line business model. Anyway, if you’re waiting for the bus down near High and Gay and you get the munches, and you’re willing to spend just a little bit more than a large sandwich combo at Wendy’s check this place out. Omnomnom.

Yet another«choose your format, choose your protein and choose your toppings» Chipotle style, assembly line food joint. Given the kebab, chicken gyro and beef gyro protein choices, I’d like to say Mediterranean style, but a few items left me scratching my head(topping choices include corn, carrots and one type of free cheese. .. .mozzarella). For an extra $ 2, they’ll sprinkle on some feta. The advertised red onions must’ve had quite the scare as they were as white as white onions(tasted like them too). I ended up ordering the beef gyro in the lavash format. In this case, «lavash» means«tortilla» rather than anything authentic. I wanted feta and tzatiki sauce, but that would’ve added $ 4 to the tab. Mayor Bloomberg would heartily approve of the sippy-sized soda cups. I’m all for new downtown lunch places. Unfortunately, Grill & Grilled(what kind of name is that, anyway?) doesn’t add much to the mix. The food was okay, but not anything authentically ethnic — more like a school cafeteria’s interpretation of Mediterranean. While not horribly expensive, I normally get a much better lunch for $ 11.

Basically a made to order Mediterranean flat bread sandwich/bowl place. Just getting started, but the food seems good and I appreciate their extended hours downtown. We had a gyro chicken sandwich, which was good at a very reasonable price. Some real flat bread, rather than a torillia would have been better, but otherwise tasted great. We had our’s to go, but there’s a nice eat in space as well. This should be a big hit with the downtown weekday lunch crowd.
