Harrison’s on Kenny has some cheap beer. I think cheap beer should earn any bar two stars. The bar itself is pretty nice inside, with plenty of TVs so everone is able to watch what they want. It has plenty of problems, though. There are too many douches in here. Should lay off the steroids. The service here really sucks. They are so slow with orders. It looked like the food was not really appetizing, but I didn’t have any. They need to get more organized before I return.

Nice enough sports bar. Nachos were pretty meh. But it’s a convenient location in the neighborhood with couches, pool tables, dart boards, and the music was on point tonight. Not a bad place to relax and chill but it won’t get any awards for having amazing food.

Went here the other night for drinks and dinner. We ordered half a dozen things off the menu, and each item was famously MEH. They were lacking in flavor, temperature, or any real attempt at being memorable. The cherry on top was waiting nearly 30 minutes to ask for our check.

So much potential in a bar with such terrible service. Literally have never had worse service at a bar in my life. They have a great menu and great beer selection but the service is laughable. The bar tenders are not nice. Go up the road to Halftime Tavern or Gallos for the same beer selection and way nicer service. Not worth it. Too bad.

It’s kind of a typical sports bar. Standouts: food specials Monday(wings) and Wednesday(tacos) both deliver big bargains on food and drinks. Trivia Wednesday gets the whole place going. Great outdoor patio for nice nights, plenty of indoor entertainment as well with pool, hoops, skee-ball, and shuffleboard.

This was a Brew-stir once that Harrison has fixed up to look like something more trendy, but the fixings and feel of the defunct ’90-style college-kid hangout still seeps through the paint job and fake woodwork. Or maybe it is just me, having known the former, that I can’t help associate Harrison’s spacey hall with the pool table and Cornhole garnished predecessor. Yet it is more ‘regal’ now; so I finally thought to give them a try. The verdict: this is a decent place to meet someone for a quick bite, or perhaps to watch a mid-important sporting match, but I wouldn’t place it on the tops for food and fun, even for the Northwest/Upper Arlington area. Having a seat at the bar, I noticed they have an even mix of typical beers and crafts. I picked a couple crafts to try. I wasn’t presented with a menu at first and wondered if they did in fact make food. After tracking down a bartender I finally got one. I’ll write this off as a faux pas. Will discuss service below. I ordered a Buffalo Burger well done. It took a bit longer to come than average, but I was in no hurry. It was good. The burger was cooked correctly, in my opinion of what well done means. The patty itself had no remarkable flavor; it was pretty standard. I loved the sauce though: blue cheese, Buffalo, and spinach – which was really a nice touch. The bacon was average but came in an awkward shape for a item on a round meal: two small double helix like shrivels; I had to crush it into the burger putting the crown bun on, a slight imperfection. The sweet potato fries I choose for a side were process food, but they were boiled nicely. On service: I sat at the bar so it seemed ok. But I could tell they could use a little more training. Not asking if I needed a menu at first siting isn’t fatal but can create a bad first impression. My original bartender seemed disinterested, almost as if I was bothering her, though some people just come off this way. My second tender was nicer, funny even. It was just those two working the front, so if I came with a group and sat at a booth I can see how the service may lack, and probably agree with other reviewers about the low quality of it. All in all, it is not a bad place to have a bite and a drink.

We love it here! We just found this place this past weekend. It’s really nice and classy inside with a dark wood bar and wood floors. TVs everywhere so we can’t wait to watch some football here soon. Monday’s are 25 cent wings and they are big wings– bigger than Bdubs. Their 3 alarm sauce is a thicker red Tabasco like sauce and its killer I can’t wait to order it on my tacos on taco night(which is Wednesday btw) Their spicy garlic wing sauce is really really good too it’s creamier than others I’ve tried and would toats dip my fries in it and order it on a fish taco! I can’t wait to try the buffalo sauce. They have a great outdoor patio w corn hole and inside they have several pool tables, ski ball a basketball throw game and nice music box. We’ve been twice and never had probs w service. Had fun both times.

Came in on wing night and waited 2 hours to our wings and was offered no refills. By far the worst service I’ve had in years

Took a smaller group this time, about 12. We sat in some very comfy couches. Service was great, as usual. Drinks were on special, it was happy hour. And the food, I swear, I don’t know where they find their cook, but he is definitely a notch above your average bar cook. If I lived closer, I’d be a regular.

Food was ok. Prices were good. Beer selection is decent. Service is just terrible! Saw our waitress when we ordered our first drink and food, but she never came back. She flitted around doing other things, but never checked on us. Someone else brought our food. Then we sat with empty plates on the table for at least 30 mins and they were only cleaned up AS we were leaving. We had to go up to the bar for future beers, to get a spoon missing for my chili AND to get/pay our check, after waiting 30 mins with nobody around. This was a SLOW Tuesday eve(only 3 tables occupied in main area). When I went to the bar to cash out, our initial waitress was walking behind the bar when I tried to get someone cash us out. She looked at me twice before she finally came to where I was. I expressed my frustration with the service and she said she was supposed to be there to hang posters. I told her if that’s the case, she should never have taken a table then. Hanging posters is secondary to taking care of paying customers. There is a serious lack of management/leadership. Could be a decent bar, if they could fix service issues. As a point of reference, we’ve visited a week before, with similar disregard sitting AT the bar.

My husband and I stopped by here Sunday night for a quick bite. We were both wowed by the food and the service was great! The atmosphere is awesome too! We will definitely be going back!

Actually did not have a bad experience here last night. I use to frequent this building a lot when it was originally brewskys and really enjoyed the place. After Harrison’s bought it I was excited to see what improvements were made. The facility was nice but like others have noted the service was lackluster. Last night me and a few peeps when to give it another try and we all were rather impressed with the service. When we arrived at the bar the bartender immediately came to us got our drinks and she informed us of the current specials that we’re going on. We then went to the pool tables and were continuously check on by other servers. We ordered there wings which were half off on this particular night and they didn’t taste bad. Because of my previous experience I am only giving 3 stars but if every night will be like my last I could definately predict an upward trend in there star quality:)

So just decided to try this place out again. Figured I can always give a local business a second chance but man oh man am I regretting it. Apparently their standards of being clean are not there. Sat down to filth at the bar and had a filthy napkin as a result

My experience seems pretty consistent with other reviews. That is nothing spectacular and service was slow and inattentive. Perhaps it was a few inexperienced bartenders on an early shift, but this place didn’t do anything to impress me. I can say there was plenty of room inside and the remodeling made the place look nice inside. I would go back if the service and food improved. There might have been 10 people there when I walked in and I took a seat at the bar. Made eye contact with the bartender, of which there was two, but took a long few minutes before I was greeted and ordered a drink. I asked for a menu and then another 10 minutes before someone returned to take my food order. I could completely understand if the bar was crowded and the staff was busy, but the bartenders were hanging out on the other end of the bar eating and talking to what might have been a patron/boyfriend/coworker. I also got the impression the two bartenders were ticked at each other. I had the fish tacos. They were nothing special– lettuce, flour tortilla, passable salsa. I ended up hanging out with friends there for a couple hours. Service didn’t really improve but didn’t get worse.

We went in for drinks after for dinner, it took about 5 minutes for them to see us sitting at the bar even though there were only 6 people at the place. Saw several folks come in and after a few minutes give up and leave because of no service.

What’s that expression? Fool me once, fool me twice, fool me three times? We’ve been here 3 times now. We’ve overlooked several errors on Harrison’s part: the complete and total lack of promotion(we pass by it nearly daily and had no idea when it had opened), the somewhat awkward and inexperienced service, the food that sometimes left something to be desired. After tonight, I have to be done. We went in on July 4th, a Friday night, to get some drinks. First, we were 2 of maybe 6 people there. I say maybe because so much of the waitstaff were sitting/standing around talking amongst themselves, laughing loudly. You could mistake them for patrons and, for a while, we did. Our waitress was fairly nice and seemed like she knew her stuff but, after serving us our drinks, she disappeared. We ordered two drinks: a kentucky bourbon barrel ale, on draft, and a mixed drink with sprite and vodka. We decided on an order of sweet potato fries for $ 1.99. We were halfway into our sweet potato fries when we were informed that the bar was closing abruptly, at 9:30, because«AEP was there and they had to cut the power, sorry!» No other explanation. We had to stop in the middle of our fries, which we paid for, rush to finish our drinks, and pay our bill: $ 15 with tip. For 2 drinks and a tiny side, $ 15? Really? We got kicked out and weren’t offered anything in return; not even a to-go box. This place has some serious kinks to work out. I don’t anticipate it being there very long. We’ve given it ample opportunities to impress us, and it keeps going downhill. While I don’t like Average Joe’s, I can understand why people might patronize it over this bar.

I’ll gladly give the 1st review: 25 cent wings on Monday. Let me repeat: 25 freaking cent wings on Monday and not those BS scrawny dry ones. These are covered in sauce. Thats unheard of in 2014. Most other places charge 50 – 60 cents per wing/drum. Also, everything is new and clean with about 30 large HD tv’s. This will be an ideal place to watch the game regardless of sport or time of year. They have an ourdoor patio perfect for Summer boozing and they even have a back area with pool tables, basketball, and ski ball for a true gamer. They have so many different sections and its a big place. They have a great selection of alcohol and many good beers on tap with different kinds of wine as well. I think this place is going to thrive and I’ve been buzzing about Harrison’s downtown for sometime. I would reccommend this bar to friends/family/and sports fans but also people looking for a good night out on the weekends. Whatever you do, try the wings on monday and get them covered in peppercorn ranch and buffalo.
