Almost reminds you of a Panda Express until you try it. The food is great. I love the stir-fry and the Crab Rangoon. They also have Sushi which looks pretty good. I’ve been to both locations in Columbus and will visit any chance I get.

This is probably one of the easiest places in Columbus to get Americanized Chinese food without the risk of getting bad cheap Chinese. The menu has a nice selection, they offer sushi and the price is reasonable. It is a few pegs below Leeann Chin, not in Columbus but it will do just fine. Nothing fancy, just your staple Chinese with friendly staff and a decent dining area with TVs for sports.

I really like this place and I’m glad it is so close by. They have a good online ordering system and they deliver. The food is fresher and lighter tasting than a lot of take out places. No greasy or heavy oils. You can get everything either steamed or stir fried to add a healthier option too. I like their made to order sushi and I also like the«HC way» create your own meal option.

I thought this would be better than it was but nope. Food was just ok and while I like the concept it wasn’t really pulled off well. It’s like they do a lot of different things but don’t really do any of them great so the food is just ok at it’s best

Quick, clean, and cheap, very welcoming environment. I’ve always loved their food at their other locations. This location is relatively new, but food is just as delicious. Please open one up in Dublin! :D

A few suggestions for the owners. Serve better food. Purchase frozen dumplings rather than make your own. It was such a bad lunch of hot and sour soup, without flavor and inedible steamed dumplings that were tossed in garbage. Yuck

I’m going to go with«yay, I’m a fan» because, truthfully, I went in with low expectations, seeing how my recent restaurant experiences haven’t been all that great(was ready to give up on ever trying anything new again) and my beloved Jiu Thai has taken a nosedive on me since my first couple of visits. So with this one I was pleasantly pleased and surprised. I didn’t even know the place was there until my boss brought in an advert from HC Way that they had mailed to area residents. Before even leaving the comfort of my home, I ordered my food from their website, building my own entrée. Picked a time I’d be there to get it and left the house. It was 2 minutes away from being done when I walked in. Excellent. No getting on the phone to place an order, no waiting on my food, just pay, grab and go. The employees were very nice and the place was clean as a whistle. I chose chicken and a variety of veggies and wanted the«Chef’s Special White Sauce», which is really flavorful and delicious. Was in the mood for noodles instead of rice, so I went with Lo Mein. Pretty good. It’s basic Lo Mein, nothing terribly exciting, but it tasted just fine and my food was nice and hot. Egg rolls don’t have a HUGE amount of excitement value, but tasty nonetheless. And I got two free crab rangoon pieces(a current special going on, you get two crab rangoon or one soup with entrée orders) which were decent as well. I will go back to try other entrees and maybe some sushi.

Great find! This place is quick and cheap. I had the General tsos which was crispy and flavorful. Modern and clean interior. Quick service and friendly. What else can you ask for? Fried wontons were tasty.

We love HC Way! We eat here frequently. Their sushi is great, it’s made to order! They always have a deal on sushi so their prices end up being very good. Great food too!

Had Pad Thai and Hot and Sour soup. Very good quality and taste for very affordable price. Need to go back and try the design your own sushi and some of the other dishes. Very good choice!

We love this place! The food is fresh and flavorful. It’s great because you can choose the ingredients to add to your own stir fry. The food is prepared made to order and is served in a large portion.

Fast, convenient Chinese food. And it tastes delicious! Who says you can’t have Chinese for breakfast… Lunch and dinner. What makes this place great is the Chipotle style pick what you want in your dish. I like eggrolls and beef in my stir fry.

Service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The food was very good with many Asian choices. Our dishes were all freshly made and the prices are a great value. Definitely will be heading back to HC Way.

HC Way is a new Chipotle-style create your own Chinese/sushi restaurant. A couple have popped up around town, and lured by the promise of a quick dinner, I stopped into their Bethel Road location. As mentioned, HC Way allows you to create your own sushi rolls, choosing your wrap, veggies, protein, and sauces. If you’re not into that, you’ll have an opportunity to create your own rice or noodle dish in the same style. Good choices for gluten-free, vegetarian, and kids beginning to branch out into Chinese food. Always dubious of «fast casual,»(the illusion of choice, only slightly fresher food) I checked out the menu and decided on tofu pad Thai. I asked for«extra spicy,» which they agreed to, but my pad Thai had the same spice level found at any American-Chinese place. So no spice option. Bummer! Good news — the noodles tasted fresh and the sauce was light. I also grabbed an egg roll, which was standard pre-made, previously-frozen stock. All in all, I can say this: It is a step above Panda Express. The staff were friendly but not overbearing, and let me take my time ordering. The prices are reasonable. Food was made and packed up quickly. Should you go to HC Way? I’m giving it three stars, A-okay — if you like the Chipotle model(or like middle-of-the-road American Chinese), give it a try.

The first time I visited Hcway I enjoyed my meal. I ordered a veggie dish with white sauce. The meal wasn’t bad and I though the vegetables were decent quality. The second time I visited the establishment I ordered chicken teriyaki. The meat quality was a huge disappointment, It was really fatty and didn’t have the texture of normal chicken, to be honest I had a hard time swallowing my bite. When I looked closer I couldn’t really tell what I was eating. I did notice some of the meat was dark meat. I didn’t end up eating that meal and left hungry. I do feel they have a good idea going and can offer a decent meal but I wouldn’t suggest any chicken dish unless you order it fried.

My friend recommended this place to me! Great idea for a stir fry restaurant. You get to choose your protein, veggies, sauce, and how it’s prepared(stir fry or steam if you want to be a little healthier). The choices they offer can be a little overwhelming if you don’t know what you want. We ordered a Kung pao and szechuan stir fry. The Kung pao was a little too sweet and salty for my taste. My friend’s szechuan was also too salty. Overall, the food was okay and is worth a try for their very reasonable price. Also, the environment is more modern than your conventional Chinese restaurant. You can also order customizable sushi here.

I go here often as I work nearby and I always have a good experience. They don’t have loud ridiculous music, it’s clean, and the staff is always friendly. I am typically not a fan of Chinese food: it’s either too salty or just too«busy» for me to enjoy it. Their«HCWAY» stir fry menu option is the way to go, you can pick any protein you want, then sauce, then add as many veggies as you want without an upcharge. There are plenty of other Chinese places around, but none of them offer this kind of flexibility.

HC Way? It’s the brand new Asian bistro that just opened a couple weeks ago on Bethel Rd. It’s made to order, better than average food court style Asian food. The food is alright, it’s plenty filling and not too expensive for what you get. The place is brand new with a nice contemporary look. The employees are polite, friendly and very helpful. They have standard Chinese American dishes but they also give you the choice of building your own entrée which is what I did. You order at the counter, you get a pager and then you pick up your food when they buzz you. That’s called«The HC Way» and it goes like this: 1. Pick your protein 2. Pick the vegetables you want 3. Pick your sauce ie Teriyaki, Kung Pao, Hunan, Curry, Mongolian, etc. 4. Choose your cooking style — steamed or stir-fry 5. Choose your starch — steamed, fried or brown rice or lo mein noodles I decided to try the Stir Fry Veggies with Shirmp and Hunan Sauce. It was decent and filling. The sauce was typical /forgettable but it wasn’t bad. The portions were fairly large for the price as there was a surprising amount of food for the money. They didn’t skimp on the protein and they did offer brown rice which was a nice surprise. The Hot And Sour Soup though… Erm… Have you ever had really bad Chinese buffet soup where it was really gelatinous, clumpy and kinda slimey? This is that soup. The portion was much larger than what any other Asian restaurant serves but it was really bad and I wouldn’t bother getting it again. All in all, it’s a 3 star restaurant and I would definitely go back again sometime to try some other combinations. Additional info: They offer online ordering They have a delivery service — $ 2 fee when your order is greater than $ 10. They have the option of create your own sushi

The GF and I wanted some Chinese delivery, and we went with HC Way. The food came in about 45 minutes, and it was still quite hot. I got the sesame chicken, and I thought it was good but not STL good. Still, it was filling and tasty. The GF got orange chicken and she was reasonably pleased as well. We will definitely order from here again, but most likely on days when STL is closed.

Neither my husband nor myself felt up to cooking tonight, so we thought we’d make use of one of the coupons we received in the mail for this new HC Way location. I’ve never been to the other locations, but their reviews looked decent enough for me to want to check it out. It wasn’t particularly busy when we arrived, which may have been because it’s a new establishment or because today is a holiday. Either way, I appreciated the calm atmosphere. The interior is pretty sleek and contemporary & the overall layout of the restaurant seems to be pretty functional. I got the general tso’s, and my husband got the orange chicken. We also got potstickers and crab rangoons. Overall, I’d say we enjoyed the food. Though we both felt like the potstickers had way too much filling, and my husband wasn’t a fan of their flavor in general. Also, if you’re into vegetables, the broccoli that was thrown into our orders seemed like a complete afterthought. We both found a couple of poorly cooked stalks of broccoli buried under our chicken. Being the dedicated carnivores that we are, neither of us was particularly bothered, but other people might find it off-putting. The portions are pretty good for the price point & we both have leftovers to snack on later. They do also deliver, which is nice. We’ll probably go for that option next time.
