I began to like Insight before the merge with Time Warner Cable. Insight always responded to us in a timely fashion and gave us competitive deals when we were with them. Insight also called before their repair men came to fix something at your place where as you might wait a while for Time Warner. The nice part of Insight was the DVR option for all my shows. Insight also made sure to update us when there was a change with our payment. In addition to helping us online when we couldn’t get into our online bill pay. Overall, I was happy with this service.

Just not happy. The only provider available where we are, and they know it so pricing is higher then what you would normally pay. They don’t honor what they promise you before you sign up, and even if it’s in writing form the sales rep they won’t do it. Had this happen twice now… almost like a bait and switch. I can say have never had any type of outage with them, but have had many issues with the cable boxes(multiple) losing channels off your favorites list guide, or doubling channels. The guide is a mess, as many channels are doubles(tripled if you count the HD). USA is on channel 5 and another in the 100’s, and many other ones are like this(the 2nd one is the exact same and is not the HD one). Have dealt with many could care less attitude customer service reps.

I have had Time Warner in Ohio, Bright House and Dish in Florida and now Insight, which I love. First of all I think the price is right. I dont have any special channels like HBO, Showtime, etc, but I do have a DVR. The cable is always up and running, our internet never goes out and honestly all cable companies are not what I would consider cheap but with Insight I am satisfied with the services for the amount of monmom4kidsey I spend. Wit Time warner I always had issues, in fact when my phone went out it took over 3 weeks for them to «find the part.» They didnt offer me a discount, pro rate or for that matter anything other than a hassle. Can you imagine going without a house phone for your latch key children after school because they can’t find a part. With Diish we never had reliable service. It was always one thing after another. Everyone has their own preferences, their own experiences, etc. but I am very very happy with my services

Believe it or not, I’ve had service from Insight for over twenty years. That’s right, twenty! I’ve got the whole package, including phone. And I’ve got to give them credit, it’s alway up. Even when my phone wasn’t I always had cable TV. I have to admit looking around but most of these other companies are so gimmicky. At least with Insight, I know what I’m going to pay.

I had Time Warner when I lived in German Village and AT&T when i lived in Atlanta. I was happy with both of them. When I first moved to New Albany I installed insight. The user interface is outdated, the harware is outdated, and the quality and strength of the signal is poor. Road Runner goes out all of the time. I tried installing AT&T and the customer service was terrible here. The lied to me and said I could tape multiple shows at once and in reality that wasn’t possible. I switched back to Insight. After a few years of being absolutely fed up w/system upgrade and outages, I finnaly moved to DirecTV. DTV is AWESOME. My life is so much better now although I still have to put up w/Insight’s crappy RR signal.

We’ve had them for some time(12 years). We’ve had basic cable, I really would love their bundle package, but I notice they will offer a low price then raise it extremely. The service is good, but the price is high. Foe example, we just have basic cable(100 channels), no HBO, no showetime, no program box/DVR, and our bill is nearly $ 68 a month. It used to be $ 20 a month when we started! I noticed that Dish Network offers their special of $ 25 a month for a year, and then $ 45 a month a year for the same package that we have! We haven’t tried their bundle package.

Not a fan at all. I have to use Insight as it is the only carrier that serves my apartment complex. I pay around $ 90 for internet & cable TV; the service of the internet works fine; it never seems to blip or anything. However, the setup of the TV cable is a disaster. Nothing is in order; I have channels that I have and don’t have intermixed, and the guide is a mess. I know people who have TIme Warner that pay around $ 100 for internet, HD Cable, and DVR. I have regular cable and no DVR and pay $ 90. Ridiculous! I would switch in a heartbeat if I could. I am moving in a few months and can’t wait to switch companies.
