Super local bar, pretty close to Columbus Crrew stadium. I’d reccomend stopping here before the Crew game to get drinks, park for free or cheaper and then walk to the stadium. I’m pretty sure this place is packed during OSU games also.
The best part is the drink prices, where can you get beers for a dollar and change and huge mugs for 4 dollars that holds a whole lot of beer. Different specials each night. People are friendly if you are. Juke Box is pretty cool also.

Hahaha. This place is awesome.
It’s as divey as dive bars get. The patrons seem like regulars and are «weathered» and extremely drunk. The décor is hilarious — antiquated big screen TV, budwiser posters with 1980’s hotties, nascar banners. The beers are dirt cheap and the bartender is crumudgeony. Yes!
The cherry on top of the sundae? They played two Kid Rock songs in a row. For realizies.

Great prices all-​around. What turned me off was the bartenders locking us out at 11pm during a smoke break after an obvious drug purchase. Terrible! Don’t hire bartenders that put their drug addiction over the customer!

Jacks is a bar. That is pretty much all there is to it. There is a dart board, a pool table, and every Friday night the regulars like to do a little karaōke. This bar is never crowded, and every time I have visited, I was the youngest person in the establishment. I am 25.
Jacks is an amazing way to get a break from all the college kids around campus.

Jack’s is what it is; a long-​time, no-​frills watering hole hearkening back to the days when the area was more blue-​collar, though it still retains a diversity of residents. There’s some OSU decorations, nothing too over the top, and the place has a more subdued atmosphere than what you’ll find at other SoHud establishments. While not someplace I’d venture out of my way to go it adds to the uniqueness of the neighborhood.

Gay bar located on Summit St between the University and Short North districts. Mostly a bar but does have a dancefloor. Pool tables and TVs as well. Select drink specials. Not to be confused by the other Jacks Bar further up the street, this bar features strippers (Tuesdays), Ladies Night (Sundays) and drag shows. Dance nights are Saturdays.
