This place is closing soon= clearance sale going on right now. Not sure when it’s closing, but I would guess in a month or so. At the moment, discounts are 10−50%; we got 30% off curtains etc. I’ve been here a few times over the years, and haven’t been super impressed. Prices are low, but not low enough on items I actually want for me to get much. But we’ve scored some good deals, so I guess it’s worth it. Went yesterday, and with the clearance and issues with the registers, there were huge lines. We got what we wanted, then waited forever to get out.

Save your time, besides a mail order return section, the rest of the store doesn’t offer any great value. It is a huge store, but the only really good bargains seem to be in this returns room, which was less than 10% of the entire store. The rest of the store seem to be made up of normal merchandise that were either overruns or last season’s. And maybe if you hunted, you could find a real bargain, but you could also go to Big Lots too. We actually had more fun exploring the Anderson’s General Store which you need to drive right past to get to this JC Penny Outlet store.

This store is huge! They have everything you would except at a regular JCP from clothing for the whole fam to furniture, home goods, and accessories. They also had a ridiculous amount of boots when I was there for only $ 10 or something insane. I also found a lot of Target clothing when I was there which was great! I really think you need to come here with the mindset that you have to LOOK to find the good stuff, very similar to thrifting in my opinion. Don’t forget to check out the large room on the right side of the store too, only this stuff has a much shorter return window.

I don’t normally shop at the regular JcPenney’s but I seem to find myself wandering in here from time to time. I do find some good things randomly here… like an orange cardigan with polka dots that people always assume is from J. Crew, The shoe section is terrible and not worth glancing at. The kids section is decent and the linens are kinda jimpy. I did get a good deal on some wonderful satin sheets though. In the return area/furniture they are super good deals on nice durable couches and rugs… some of the scratched coffee tables and buffets are a different story as you wonder why someone would pay 150 for a dresser missing the pulls or even a whole drawer. In summation this store is a hodge podge of all the merchandise from stores that they couldn’t sell along with returned catalog items. Happy Hunting!

I like to save money. This place… saved me *some* money — but the the quality was questionable. Lots of crappy product seemed to find its way in here. From bedding to clothing, and even a catalog return area in the back corner; there was a lot of stuff, but not the good kind. I’d return for the occasional random piece of damaged furniture or if I needed to update my window treatments — but everything else is pretty mediocre. Not even the *good* JCP items if you know what I mean. I hear this place is closing down soon though?

We’ve driven past this on the highway a lot so finally stopped in to find a deal on a new bed in a bag. First off, we picked the wrong day to go, the sunday before school starting meant this place was getting raped by soccer moms and their bratty kids. Very inconsiderate people shopping here that day. If you can get over that, there are some deals. I ended up getting two dress shirts for way less than a store price, and we did find a new sheet set we liked. Pricing wise, you can expect to get walmart pricing for JCpenny goods. Don’t expect miracle bargains though. Lastly, due again to the soccer moms and bratty kids, there was a 10 minute wait to check out, during which time I noticed for whatever reason their cashiers were really slow… struck me as kind of odd.
