When they have a sale its awesome, the regular prices can be a little high. I have introduced alot of customers to the store because I do like their selection. I was there today and had interactions with Cindy and she is not a good fit for the store and is very, very pushy and fake acting.

I was so disappointed with our experience at Jeffrey Thomas. We got my husbands suit for our wedding custom made only to come away with pants that only came to above his calves! Total nightmare, had to cancel a photoshoot and they did nothing to make up for it. Completely unprofessional to say the least. Will not be returning.

This shop is a great find! A wide selection of fashionable and comfortable clothes — lots of elegant choices! The selections are excellent quality but are not so over-the-top as to break the bank. I mentioned that I was looking for clothes for a particular event(25th college reunion) and enjoyed wonderful, friendly service. The store was running a great sale as well. Easy in and out. Booya!

Just shopped at Jeffrey Thomas for the first time recently and am very glad to have discovered this boutique. I am impressed with both the merchandise and the service and definitely recommend this shop for women’s business clothes, and/or specal items. I purchased a unique sweater and have received compliments each time I have worn it — it’s not something I have seen anywhere else. And, they special ordered dark navy(a hard color to find) dress pants for me that fit and look great. Yes, it is a bit pricey but I will wear the items bought here for years. I wandered around for awhile when I first entered the store. Unlike other reviewers, however, I view being left alone to browse as a positive and am more than happy to approach an employee if I need help. Both Linda and Steve were knowledgeable and very responsive. I expect to shop at Jeffrey Thomas again.

I LOVE this boutique. I found the merchandise to be terrific, high quality and very fashionable. It is pricey, but it is a good place to pick up one or two high-quality, noticable pieces that will last for years. The staff are helpful, too. I usually go with at least $ 100 to spend, and start with the clearance rack. It’s alright to start with clearance in Ohio because fashion usually gets here late(or not at all). The clearance discounts are high percentages like 50% or 75%, so you’ll get a good deal. How To Shop In A(Real) Boutique: You can tell Jeffrey Thomas is a real boutique because it holds wonderful, lesser-known designer clothing and the staff are all dressed well. They will leave you alone when you get there(instead of the ubiquitous, «Hi, How are you doing? Welcome to _________!!! WOULDYOULIKETOBUY A MULTIPACKOFANIMALPRINTTHONGS???» — Did you know that is implemented as a theft deterrent? Irritating the customers keeps them from five-fingering.) So, when you go to a real boutique, make yourself comfortable. Browse a little. When they come up to you and ask if they can help, don’t turn them away. Say, «I’m looking for a size 8 blue sweater.» or whatever reason you’re there. They will go to all their merchandise that fits that description and bring it to you. You can even ask them what it looks like when you try it on. At Jeffrey Thomas you can, anyway. So, just ask, and they will rush to your aid. (I haven’t had a bad boutique experience in Columbus, but I’m sure you can imagine places in which the clerks have, uh, character defects. You wouldn’t want to ask some people for that level of service. Then again, those people belong at discount stores, not at boutiques.)

I’ve wandered into the Jeffrey Thomas many times while waiting for a table at neighboring First Watch. The boutique carries men’s, women’s and children’s’ clothing and accessories. It’s hardly haute couture, but fasionistas will encounter offbeat designers and slightly higher-end brands, such as Tommy Bahama, Cole Haan, Toscano, Nicole Farhi, Le Top, Nicole Miller and loads of other designers I’ve never heard of. I want give Jeffrey Thomas a two-star review based on the dismissive service I have received every single time I’ve shopped here, but bumped up the rating an extra star, because their clothes and accessories are unique and stand out among the chain clothing stores that seem to pervade the Upper Arlington malls. I can’t say I dislike Jeffrey Thomas, because I am often drawn in by the quirky outfits in the window displays. I just get the sense the sales associates don’t have the time of day for you unless you LOOK like you are going to drop a ton of cash, which is usually not the case for me. I generally shop in comfort, meaning jeans and Crocs– but this is not to say I won’t buy a high ticket item. I actually came here several times looking for special occasion outfits and never once felt welcomed. A male friend, likewise, grew up shopping here and as an adult has experienced the same sort of dismissive and rather snobby service. So, if you can endure snotty, aloof salespeople and don’t mind paying slightly higher prices for brands often carried at Macy’s, then by all means spend your money here. Despite the crummy service, Jeffrey Thomas remains an independently-owned bright spot in the otherwise blasé Kingsdale Mall.
