They used to have a military discount, which was just a free drink with order I believe, but now they don’t. I ordered a #12 with extra meat. Got home and saw 11 marked on my sandwich. I was reading a previous comment saying that they were pre-made, which I hadn’t seen as of yet, but I felt maybe the #11 was because the receipt in the bag said extra mayo, and there were 2 packets of mayo in the bag. So someone had to wait extra long to get theirs remade. I called and they were like yes the drive thru person tole me what had happened. I can put a free sub on this number… I was like I don’t eat ham I will come back and get my sandwich, she’s like okay we will remake it can I get you anything else I was like a free Non Sweet Tea would be great. So I drove all the way from St. Mary’s to Macon road on their mix up and only got a free tea? I should have said I want the free sub also. My mistake. Also they used to hallow out the subs, so they held more food, I don’t think they do anymore. The subs seem to be less together than they used to be. I’m just not sure if I will go back or not.

The worst thing about leaving MN was leaving Jimmy Johns. That was 10 yrs ago. Imagine my surprise when i found a Jimmy John’s here. It has gotten even better and they have the best sandwiches. U can also buy the fresh baked bread loaf for less than a dollar. Love them!!! I order delivery all the time and i have had no problems.

I placed an order, gave my address, and waited. Twenty minutes later, I received a call from a lost driver. He had no GPS and was unfamiliar with the city. I gave him specific directions on how to reach my house, and then waited more. Ten minutes later, he called me from the store(I could hear the noise in the background) and told me I was just outside of their delivery area and he wouldn’t deliver my food. I live 3.1 miles away. I was told it «wasn’t his fault» that the person taking the order didn’t check the address, and he went so far as to say that I «wasted his gas.» This was my first time ordering from Jimmy Johns and I found the experience to be completely terrible. I ordered pizza instead, and it arrived before I finished writing this review.

My biggest complaint is the fact that they boast about their delivery service, but can’t however deliver 4 miles down the road. We have 2 locations here in Columbus and neither will deliver downtown. Our downtown area is one of the busiest areas in this city, so they must know how much business they losing by not simply going 4 miles down the road(from either location). I actually like their mediocre sandwiches, they get the job done. Maybe if they could back up their campaign on their delivery service and just go the extra mile(literally), they would find they have a lot of potential business they are missing out on.

Absolutely nothing special about this place. Average sandwiches for an above average price. Honestly, Subway would’ve been a lot better from my point of view. I do recommend taking the time to read all the signs that are posted on the walls.

I was expecting a gourmet sandwich. Actually, it was garbage. The sandwiches are small & pre-made, so customizations become a hassle. There was nothing that tasted fresh; bread, meat, veggies. It reminded me of a sandwich from a vending machine, but more expensive. $ 5.50 for an 8-inch flattened sandwich, and with a $ 1.75 drink and sales tax, the total somehow becomes more than $ 8.00. Good luck getting an explanation where the extra charge(approx 30¢) comes from, and no itemized receipt is provided. Though the staff is nice, if you want to pay twice as much money for a gas station sandwich, Jimmy John’s is for you. If you want a fresh & full sandwich for a decent price, go elsewhere.

Bread was the best part of the sandwich. It was fresh and had a nice crunch to it. It lacked greatly in food stuff. Barely anything on it. Drowning in mayo. Drinks were good and cold, not crammed full of ice. Delivery was polite, professional and apologized for the delay due to several staff untrained in how to utilize the POS. They stated there were no managers on duty(?).This was during lunch rush. Cannot say I would ever order again, even though their menu offers a nice selection.

Best sandwich in Columbus! The delivery is truly«freaky fast». The french bread makes the sandwich. My experiences with the staff are completely the opposite from the previous reviewer but it doesn’t surprise me, as these are entry level positions and no business is immune to bad hires. That said my experience has been that they were all very, polite, courteous and attentive.

Yikes. Personal opinion: Jimmy John’s is really putting the franchise in danger with this location– I have yet to have a decent experience there. You’d think it was every employee’s first day, and the food isn’t very good. I asked for a Veggie Sandwich on wheat with light mayo, and got stale wheat bread with mayo dripping out of the sides. No thanks.
