I love my JoAnn Fabrics. It’s almost the only place you can go these days to get fabric cut by the yard. This JoAnn’s in particular is the absolute worst. It feels like their upper level management is lacking which creates a domino effect on so many levels. Prepare yourself mentally for a 15−20+ minute wait at the cutting counter. Their shelves are not always well stocked. The check out line is always atrocious. I wish the Easton JoAnn Fabrics could learn a lesson from the Polaris one. The Polaris location seems to have it together. As a previous associate at the Polaris JoAnn’s during my high school years, I can remember what it was like working hard behind the cutting counter, on the core floor and at the register. Absolutely terrible customer service. Saw a woman at the cutting counter for at least 20 minutes while an older woman continued re calculating her prices because she could not read the prices. Employees were slow and doing useless work while people stood in line. Terrible experience and I will not be coming back.

I’ll never go there again. Hobby lobby for me in the future. I waited for so long in line that I walked out. Not going back. I went to Hobby Lobby on Sawmill Rd. In line five minutes. The problem with Joanns is that they won’t hire the workers nor a good manager.

By far the store was not fully employed with enough cashiers thus making the wait very long and slow. They were nice but they need more staff. I waited in line for 20 minutes just to check out.

I needed fabric for a project and didn’t have time to drive to the Polaris area. So I gave this location another shot. This time I got served at the cutting counter exponentially faster than in the past. I’m not ready to give more than 3 stars for two reasons. 1) I was there in the afternoon and there was only 1 person cutting fabric, so there was a line longer than it had to be. 2) I had no interaction with any staff other than the person who cut my fabric, and another whom rang me up. The fabric cutter helped direct me to locate another item in the store I needed and she was correct, and it helped me get what I needed in a hurry. I appreciated that, but it’ll take a few more good interactions to make me feel like they have more helpful, pleasant employees rather than what I’ve experienced in the past.

One piece of fabric and one can of dye took over 40 mins. They were unbelievably slow, made no attempt to speed it up, couldn’t scan one of the two things so they had to do a manual check on it, had issues opening the register. JUSTGOTOTHEMICHAEL’S DOWNTHESTREET!!!

I was not impressed at all. Super slow cutting and only one person there and only one at the cash register. The staff was super slow and didn’t do any of their pricing right the first time. I was very disappointed with the location. Will not ever come back here, go to the Michaels down the road.

I consider myself lucky that I haven’t done any sewing the past few years. I’ve only purchased paper and yarn craft items which are generally in stock and I don’t have to wait for anyone to assist me with getting what I need. In addition to the paper coupons you can download the app and use those coupons when you’re in the store. Yarn selection is mainly acrylic and acrylic blends which is very handy when making baby blankets. Cotton yarns are a good option for making baby bibs.

Terrible customer service. I know nothing about sewing, but I was picking up some supplies for my wife. Absolutely no one would help me find the seeing needles I needed. I talked to the Gigi at the fabric cutting counter, and she just told me to get an all purpose needle. There is no such product. I asked the lady at the sewing machines, but she said she couldn’t help because she didn’t work for Joann. I asked the manager, but he said he knew nothing about sewing. I asked Jacqui who checked me out and she said she only knew about frames. I told her that I felt no one was able to help me. She said there are no other people on the floors. She told me to call the number at the bottom of my receipt, because«when(the employees) complain, no one listens to us». Wow. Just, the worst. Also, the fabric cutting counter is soooo slow. Holy cow.

Their staff does the cutting fabric services are way too slow! I’ve been waiting, waiting, waiting 30 to 45 minutes in the line. Those cutting people need to sustain a speed up. Their step is slow like.25. II’m going other location to sustain a fast service.

Large variety of product however they are not very customer oriented. The cutting counter often does not seem friendly and will take their time however to their defense they are almost always busy so I’m sure they are overworked. Though I have been to this location at least 5 times and never gotten someone who went out of their way to be friendly.

Sadly, this store isn’t stocked with the same products as the other Joann’s in town — a fact I found out when I tried to buy more yarn for a knitting project months ago and have noticed several times since. On the few occasions I have located someone to ask a question, the staff have been unwilling to assist or simply have no knowledge of their product. I visit this store because of convenience, but usually wish I’d simply waited to go to Sawmill.

My experience here this past Saturday evening was noticeably better than previously. However, the cutting counter is still just soooooo slow However, I was appreciative of the help I got there this time. Gigi is very nice and very willing to help verify the amount of fabric that I needed for a project… The only bummer this time was their stock of patterns that were on sale. There were a few patterns that weren’t there… and no rain checks … I just hope they get them back in for the next pattern sale.
