Closest Joann’s to me, so I visit them a lot. Employees have always been helpful, well stocked, cutting counter line moves fastest than other Joann’s I’ve been too. Always a good experience.

I will NOT be returning to this Jo-Ann’s ever!!! And even still don’t love going in other Jo-Ann’s Never in my life have I been treated the way I did that day, especially by a Manager. I’ve been wanting to learn to sew for some time now and my wonderful husband got me a sewing machine for Christmas. After looking at reviews online of that particular sewing machine I decided to return it. Before buying a different machine on Amazon I looked online at Jo-Ann’s return policy to ensure that I’d be able to return it. When I had a day off I went in and walked to the counter and told the employee I had a return. She asked if I had a receipt(I did not because it was a gift, and like most husbands did not keep the receipt). Online it says you’re able to return an item w/o a receipt, but you’ll receive the last sale price for hat item. I was fine with that because my husband bought it over the holidays and I knew he got it on sale. As soon as I told her I didn’t have the receipt she replied with that I was unable to return it. I told her it was a gift and what I read online. She then called to her manager to ask if she could make an exception and the manager immediately replied with no so I again reiterated the situation(I consider myself a pretty calm person, especially when it comes to public confrontation. I’ve worked retail and I currently work with the public, so I understand how it can be). The employee then went back to the manager and said«yea, I’m gonna need you to come up here» as if to say I’m being a difficult customer and giving the manager a bad image of me. So I wait, the counter was one of those U shaped counters and went the manager came up she peeked over the counter and says«Yea, can I help you». I got about ½ way done explaining why I was there and she interupted me to say«nope no no we can’t do that, the return policy is different online than it is in store»(which it doesn’t say online that it’s different from store to store or store to online). She said«can’t you just ask the person who got this for you for the receipt» my response was«it was my husband and no he doesn’t have it» We go back and forth a few more times when she roles her eyes and says«I’ll have to call the district manager for me to do that». At this point I was NOT happy at all, for once in my life I stood my ground. I have never been treated that way in a store before. My response was«ok, well can you» she started walking away and said«yea, it’ll be a while though» She finally comes back comes on the right side of the counter and says«well you’re just going to get the last sale price for this which is probably only going to be $ 40. I need your I.D.» I’m not an idiot, the original price of this sewing machine was $ 130, it was on sale over the holidays for $ 99. My response was«so the last sale you had was like 80% off sewing machines» she said no and explained that, that was just a guess. She fiddles at the register for a min and then tells me I’m getting $ 99 for it, which is what I figured I would get for it in the first place, I was absolutely not attempting to scam anything or anyone. Something happens with the register and we have to move to a different one, she tells me to swipe the merchandise card and now it says I’m only getting $ 68 for it(which she said nothing about when we moved to the new register). I inquired about that and she said«yea, it’s the lowest sale price for the past 60day period»(I did not see that anywhere online when I looked and she certainly didn’t say that the first time when she got off the phone with the district manager). At that point I was so mad that i said w/e and got the $ 68, I had already decided I was going to call coorporate to make a complaint for the fact that I have NEVEREVER been treated that way EVER!!! By the time I got home I even called the other Jo-Ann’s in the area that I normally go to and asked for a manager to THANK them for always being nice and having good customer service and treating me like a person. The district manager was supposed to call me back, because I wanted to talk to him directly…5 months later I have yet to hear from him. Like I said, I work in the service industry and bend over backwords to make sure people have a good experiance and they don’t leave not wanting to come back. I hope this review helps in some way.

Stopped in here on the way home from a baby shower. Wanted to see what was all here given that I just started loom knitting. I was mostly curious to see their variety of yarn and the prices of the yarn too. The store seemed a little empty, but it may of been close to closing time on a Sunday afternoon.

Not a bad place to go for fabrics. Decently-sized, though lacks the size and selection that the Sawmill Rd. location has. The area’s going downhill, so lock your car up.

Pretty good size Jo-Ann’s. People weren’t too friendly though. Had what I needed so I can’t complain too much :)
