This place is amazing. My wife and I take our kids here for shoes every few months and it never lets us down. The store staff is great at assisting with finding the right fit for your child and somehow manages to get them to stand in one place while they do it. They’re also very knowledgeable about which shoes that have in stock and in what sizes. The shoes do run on the more expensive side if you don’t get the sale items, but I think it’s worth it. They hold up to a lot of abuse and really do last a long time before needing to be replaced. The store staff usually makes sure that the size you grab will give your child some room to grow as well. You end up spending the same amount you would at someplace cheaper because you replace the shoes much less frequently. And they have some great looking styles so that’s a plus too. Also, if you stick to the sale items(which they always have plenty of) this place is a steal. You can get some really great quality shoes for your kids for the same you would end up paying at a place like Meijer or Target for shoes that disintegrate within a month. The store staff usually knows exactly what they have on sale and what sizes of their sale items are in stock. They make it very easy to save money here. I wanted to mention one of their sales staff in particular — Ryan. Ryan has helped my family a few times and he’s always amazing. He’s very friendly and my kids love him. He is usually able to tell you exactly what is in stock, how much it costs, and what sizes are available without even having to go into the backroom to look. I can barely remember where I put my keys on most days so I don’t know how he does it. He’s just a great example of the type of service you can expect at this Stride Rite store.
