Absolutely authentic. best tacos in this town. the location is kinda sketchy but its worth the drive. its a small taco truck on the side of a gas station, but don’t let it fool you, it is delicious. I have had the pollo tacos, carne tacos, chorizo tacos and lengua tacos(I dont know about lengua tacos, but I felt adventurous that day) it has all been wonderful. We traveled to San Diego last week and the authentic tacos I had there were basically the sale as Junior’s so try it out!

Brought back memories of my time living in San Diego. Street tacos and carne asada burritos. Yummy! I’ll be back.

Stopped by this truck during the Columbus Food Truck Festival, mostly because I wanted tacos and the crowd here was large enough to ensure quality, but small enough that I wouldn’t spend an hour waiting for my food. I ordered their 3 for $ 8 tacos, which were pretty solid. A bit smaller than expected, but nonetheless tasty. You can choose from a variety of fillings including steak, chicken, carnita, or al pastor, and you don’t have to order 3 of the same — yay for mix-and-match! The steak was a bit underwhelming, but I thoroughly enjoyed my chorizo and al pastor.

My last review was clearly written in a fit of rage. But really I come here all the time due to it’s proximity to my apartment. The tacos and tortas are good. The burritos are ok. Maybe I’m just not a burrito person. Usually the wait times are under 10 minutes, but of course there is always the possibility of an insanely long unreasonable wait for 2 tacos. I like to call in my order and then drive or walk over nowadays to try to mitigate the risk of hanger.

Great if you’re around campus and need your fix of legitimate mexican food. I only get tacos here – it’ll be those smaller sized street tacos with double the soft corn tortilla/taco. I would recommend the carne asada, carnita, or chicken. I was very unimpressed with the al pastor tacos… Good service; friendly people.

TACO, TACO, TACO, TACO! I have been on the prowl for a decent taco place in Columbus and I have yet to find a place that is on-par with the taco trucks in California. But manns, Junior’s Tacos comes pretty close to it! Why did I wait so long to try this place?! The food is freeesh! The portions are generous. The prices are affordable. Bonus: that hot sauce makes me sweat like no other! We were really excited and hungry when we found the taco truck. We ordered 15 tacos: 10 carnitas, 3 al pastor, and 2 pollo. ALL with cilantro, of course! We pranced around the parking lot while waiting for the tacos to be made. The anticipation was building! The luscious smell of the grilled and slow cooked meats were an enticing tease. My stomach grumbled and urged me to order more, but my brain was like, «Nooo, you already ordered 15!» We did not have to wait too long. The nice gentleman handed us the glorious styrofoam boxes, all neatly packed in a brown plastic bag. The boxes were generously labeled, so there was no confusion as to what we were eating,(which happens quite often for us!) The tortillas were sooo fluffy and soft! My favorite of the bunch was probably the al pastor. The marinade had a nice kick. Bits of pork fat were mixed in. The carnitas were so tender. The pollo was good, too! It was tender, but I wish it were more seasoned and salted. Superb food and experience! I’m getting hungry thinking about it, so yees, we will most def be back! :D

I’ve heard quite a bit about Junior’s since I moved here last year, and I finally got around to trying them out today. As I’ve said in other reviews, I’m a sucker for good tacos, and Junior’s certainly doesn’t disappoint in that regard. Plus, you can beat the combo of cheap+good. This is why it perturbs me when so many places have mediocre tacos for like $ 4 a pop. It’s so unnecessary. I’d much rather give my money to these folks. I tried both the carnitas tacos and the tacos al pastor. Both were tasty, but I preferred the carnitas overall.

This place has always had great tacos, and a super convenient location by campus for me to grab some quick food before or in between classes. I had to write a review for them today because of their amazing owner/employees. They’ve always been really nice and accommodating. But today I didn’t order enough food to make the credit minimum. I tried to decide what I wanted to get to boost the total up but I clearly didn’t really want anything else besides the two tacos I ordered. The owner was super nice and offered to just let me have my order and that«you can come pay me later.» I was pretty amazed that he offered, sure it’s just $ 3, but you know it’s the gesture. I ended up buying more tacos because he was so nice about it. So TL;DR: Good tacos, Amazing people.

Al pastor and chorizo tacos were on perfect. Be sure to get it with cilantro and onions on top with a squeeze of lime and verde salsa.

Columbus is a haven for tacos lately and Junior’s is one of the key players in that. They serve a great taco at a great price($ 1.50 per) but personally, I’d go for the burrito($ 6)! The sauces are pretty good too albeit they are sometimes inconsistent with spice level. My heart will always lie with Los Guachos for Al Pastor, but for everything else I would put Junior’s on par or better than Los Guachos(especially for chicken). I will give them HUGE props for being able to make a 50-taco order on-the-fly on a Friday night for a birthday gathering we had at my friend’s place. Amazing service and it was ready in 15 minutes! Give it a go! Just don’t be too disappointed when your al pastor doesn’t come with roasted pineapple… the taste will suffice enough!

Tried the AL pastor and steak tacos at food truck fest. They were 3 for $ 7. I dunno. I wasn’t too impressed. The tacos had good flavor, especially with the hot sauce. But they still seemed kind of dry? I also didn’t think it was very filling, when I could have spent $ 7 at another food truck. The service was quick and the tacos look great otherwise.

Best taco truck in Columbus. The tacos and meats are so flavorful! Most tacos are $ 1.50 each(steak, chicken, pork, chorizo), but tongue and fish are $ 2. I’ve had all except the pork and chorizo, and they really hit the spot. They are garnished with cilantro and onions, and you can choose mild or spicy hot sauce. They also have sweet tortas on nice fluffy bread that soaks up all of the flavor. I went for the steak today($ 6), and it was perfect. They also have regular sodas and Jarrito($ 1.50) — it’s the right complement to your meal at Junior’s!

I’ve tried tacos from here twice — once as takeout(al pastor, cow tongue, and fish tacos) and once when I came by to order(chorizo quesadilla) and ate at the park nearby with friends. The tacos here are decent and the prices are decent, although this isn’t my fave in the city since I prefer Los Gauchos more. Their best tacos are the cow tongue, but it’s quite popular and was sold out on my second trip here. I was not a fan of the chorizo quesadilla, it needs something else to balance out the strong chorizo. Also, service was meh — the guy who works here seemed sorta impatient and a tad annoyed at his customers, but we did get our food fairly quickly. The biggest draw for me to this truck is the location, since it’s so close to where I’m situated so it’s very useful to have around when I’m having a craving. Would return for that purpose.

The fish tacos are made fresh to order. They aren’t the best fish tacos I’ve ever had but they weren’t terrible either. I actually preferred the chicken, with onions and cilantro. The chicken itself isn’t something to write home about… to be honest, it kind of reminds me of canned chicken. But overall, it tastes great in the taco and again, I can’t complain at that price! The service was also great. The owner was very friendly and chatted with us while we were waiting for our food. I’ll definitely visit again!

Lots of reviews for Juniors so I’ll keep it brief – Convenient to where I live, though I’ve only eaten here a handful of times in 3 years. Nothing screams«amazing» here for me, but I have a slight aversion to corn tortillas so maybe that’s on me. Their burritos and quesadillas are great though — Love the chicken and the carnitas. The hot sauces are pretty solid as well, though I’d appreciate a sliiiightly larger serving of sour cream. Typical truck prices($ 5 burritos/quesadillas, $ 1.50 tacos), though the add-ons and sides can get a little pricey. Quick service, not overly friendly — they’re just doing their jobs. They take cards now, though sometimes the machine is down. Use the ATM at the convenience store where they park. Open late-ish(10 or so).
