KFC

It is a KFC and Long John Silver’s. Yes they get the orders wrong from time to time. So always remember to check your meal before you drive away. But we usually get something extra when we go back in to get whatever they messed up.
We’ve never had cold food from this location. Tonight was no different. Everything was super hot. The potato wedges were so hot we had to wait to eat them. The shrimp and fish were also piping hot even after the 10 – 15 minute drive home.
They forgot the hush puppies, but when we went back to get them they gave us five instead of the two that came with our meal.
We also got eight shrimp instead of the six that came with our meal. So all in all it was still worth the effort and price.

This is the worst KFC in the United States. They will for sure get your order wrong or the food will be cold. This is normal for this place.

This is my first time in this particular KFC. First impressions are everything and this wasn’t the best first impression. The store was far from busy, yet from the chaos in the kitchen, you’d think it was a Friday night. It’s possible that I went in during a shift change (those are always fun), and if that is indeed the case, I give it three stars. The district manager was also there, and anyone who works retail or food service knows how stressful that is.
Pros: The girl who took my order was exceedingly polite. She was nervous, and I don’t blame her. When kitchen staff takes forever and a day, it’s the person at the front who gets chewed out (even though kitchen staff were in plain view). My dad was with me, and I think she saw his irritation (my dad is NOT an ideal customer).
When I finally got my food, it was piping hot. Literally fresh out of the fryer. I’ve found over the years that it’s pretty hit-​and-​miss with KFC — food’s cold, too dry, etc. — but this was definitely a hit.
Two stars off for the unnecessarily excessive wait on what equates to a dead night for fast food, but two stars on for the quality of the food and the very polite girl running the register.
