Worst pizza ever, worst wings ever. Took over an hour to have it delivered. Only thing they have going for them is that they’re open till 4 am.

I love the food here. Ive tried different pizzas and different toppings. Ive had the subs, the meatballs, the breads, the deep fried goodies, etc. I always do pickup. The people are friendly to talk to. The prices are good value. I see the reviews, some are negative and to each their own. Again, for the price, this is a good place.

Food was terrible, and cold since it took over an hour to deliver on a Monday night. Seriously if your hungry look for better options. And if your dying of starvation and on your last breath. Look for better options. Don’t let kings be your last meal you’ll regret it for eternity.

The pizza was not hot, the toppings were sparse and mostly on one side. When calling back, I was put on hold multiple time, called back twice and they are now sending their only delivery driver to back over here to come look at the pizza. We waited for almost an hour for our food. Now I’m feeling harassed. Whatever happened to quality food with good service. I understand things go wrong sometimes but right your wrong and let your customer(not anymore though) try to enjoy the rest of the night.

I have king’s on occasion usually after a long night out and not so sober. King’s is open until 4am so it makes it just about the only choice late at night. I never really thought about it until I ordered it sober one afternoon– it took 2 hours to arrive and arrived cold. Not to mention, the pizza is just plain gross. The side of sauce they give you with your stromboli is cold, which is very strange… Also, the garlic butter they give you is very strange, and you will have that taste in your mouth the next day. The only reason I gave it two stars rather than one is that after a long night, and plenty of intoxicating liquor, it can be decent.

King’s Pizza is pretty great. I ordered dinner from them several times during my stay in Columbus on business as they were one of the few restaurants that would deliver to my hotel late at night after I got back from the bars. I didn’t order any of their pizza. Instead, I ordered the pasta with chicken parmesan(which comes with a side of «breadsticks») and either jalapeño poppers or mashed potatoes(heh…I get cravings). The pasta with chicken parmesan was great. The pieces of chicken were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The balance of sauce and cheese atop the chicken and pasta was just right — not too much and not lacking. What’s great is that the portion is huge! I would eat half for dinner and save the other half for lunch the following day. The jalapeño poppers were also great, as were the mashed potatoes. The only thing that sucked was the«breadsticks,» as it was pretty much just a small loaf of bread cut into slices. That normally wouldn’t bother me at all, but the bread felt/tasted a bit stale — my guess is because I ordered late at night and the bread was probably prepared earlier in the day. The service was pretty quick, the delivery driver was nice. I’d definitely order from them again.

First, I’ll start off by saying I’ve had the pizza before on 2 occasions. Both were pickup a few years ago. I recently found myself in the mood for a pizza and I happened to be within delivery distance at a friend’s house. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, Garlic wings, and 2 diet Pepsi’s informed me it would be between 25 min to an hour. An hour or so later, someone called me to come down to meet them. The first thing I noticed was that he had 2 Mountain Dews. I told the delivery person that I ordered diet cokes and he said that it said Mountain Dew on the receipt. He showed me, and it did. Mountain Dew does not sound like Diet Coke, but I wasn’t mad at him, as he was just delivering orders and not taking them. I asked if he had anything diet in his car; he did not. I accepted the soda’s and figured I would just give them to someone else. I brought the food upstairs. The wings were piping hot. Awesome. I opened the pizza… it was so room temperature that the cheese ceased to look fresh. It was cool to the touch. I showed my friends and they were shocked at how cool it was considering how close the restaurant was. They obviously either made the pizza then let it sit while they made the wings, or gave me the pizza from a canceled order… or something! I called King pizza and complained. I hate old/cold pizza. I was put on hold several times. Then someone finally connected me to the delivery person(not sure why?) who proceeded to tell me that would bring me 2 diet cokes, but not another pizza. I asked why not? He says that he brought me the pizza fresh from the oven and that it was hot. I explained that CLEARLY it was not. He informed me that he was NOT going to bring me another pizza then hung up on me. I called right back and asked for a manager. He said the manager would not be in for sometime. I told them to just come pick up the food and refund my order. I did not wish to pay $ 20 for an order of cold food. Only then did the delivery person tell me he would bring me a fresh pizza. I was nothing but polite the entire time… and they were so rude and dismissive. They have no pride in their product. This is my pet peeve. How can you possibly hope to gain new business and keep customers if you don’t care about the quality of your food OR service? Boo! Save your time and order somewhere else. If you have to eat King’s(I know about cravings!), make sure you pick it up instead of delivery!

Their pizza is absolutely awful, and I would definitely stay away. Their wings, however, are pretty goddamn fantastic. You get a ton of them for pretty cheap. I’ve also heard okay things about their italian food.

I’ve had a few experiences with King Pizza, and I have been disappointed pretty much every time. The pizza has WAY too much sauce. By the time I was half way done with the slice, there was no cheese left towards the crust. The seasoning was actually really good, but I could not get over the sauce issue. The wings were pretty solid. The sauce was supposed to be «garlic and cheese» but it ended up tasting like a mild buffalo sauce. They were crispy and the sauce had decent flavor. I would probably get them again. The cheesy bread was… nonexistent. We ordered the bread and they forgot. Overall, there are better places to eat. They are open until 4AM every day, so it might be a decent place to order in late night if there are limited options.

I like to give business to mom and pop shops. I pass by this on my way home and was curious about it. So one night this past week I placed an order for carryout and picked up a Large Pepperoni Pizza on my way home. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. It was the most crowded I’d ever seen the parking lot. I think there was a Xenos event. There were two people working at King’s Pizza. There is a large menu overhead with the items available and the prices. It’s unclear if the pizza sizes are small, medium, and large or personal-sized, large and extra-large. The owner was very nice and friendly. My pizza was ready when I got there 15 minutes after placing the order. He asked how I heard about the pizza shop and said he was giving me a special price.($ 8 for the pizza.) Also, I should help myself to a free soda. He said they will deliver to the Clintonville area. He gave me a menu with coupons on the back to take with me. The menu mentions they’re the King’s of New York Style Pizza. It smelled like there was some garlic deliciousness on the crust or in the sauce. After eating two slices, I could say I did not want anymore. The beef pepperoni was crisp but the overall taste was bland. My husband described the taste as «pizza-like». And the menu with the coupons indicated they have a carryout special on weeknights of a Large 1-Topping Pizza for $ 7.49. I’m not so sure I received a special price. :) They have wings and pasta on their menu too but I don’t think we’ll be trying anything else anytime soon.
