I honestly do not even know where to start with our disappointment in Morgan Lindsay Photography’s work at our wedding. I think what really upset us was everything seemed to be perfect at the beginning, when we booked her and spent the day doing our engagement session. So we had really high hopes for how the wedding pictures would come out. However, when the photographer showed up at the wedding in a white dress and with her boyfriend in tow as the«second shooter,» I knew we were in for trouble. Little did I know how much: 1) No pictures of the maid of honor processing into the church; 2) Zero pictures of the soloist or organist; 3) Not a single picture of either reader during the ceremony; 4) No pictures of the maid of honor’s recessional from the church with the best man; 5) Contract stated that we would be provided with all photos, edited and unedited, on a CD or DVD. Morgan Lindsay Photography refused to comply with this part of the contract, instead posting all the pictures in an online gallery that required us to pay to download all 1,500 pictures at one time, or go through each picture individually and download them manually; 6) Printed engagement photo from Morgan Lindsay Photography cut off in the middle of the sign that read«Future Mr. & Mrs.»(it was not this way when we ordered it); 7) Less then 10 of 1,500+ pictures of just the bride and groom posing for the camera; 8) Poor quality of the important family wedding photographs; 9) Our entire wedding album seems like candid shots.
After we would contact them about our concerns, they were in no way apologetic nor had any sense of urgency to resolve the issues. Bottom line: They are good for artsy creative pictures, but have no business doing wedding photography.
