Magoo’s Bar

I was out looking for apartments with my roommate and we decided to get a drink. Magoo’s was right across the street so we stopped in. It was pretty empty on the inside — maybe 5 people at the bar. So we grabbed a spot at the end and ordered 2 gin and sodas. Here’s where it gets good — the bartender poured two full shots into the glass, topped it with ice splashed in the soda. These drinks were strong! Then she told us our total was $ 8 total. A steal!
After that, I switched to beer — because I’m still a recent college grad and I still mix my liquor and beer. At this point — beers were 2 for 1, so I paid $ 3 for 2 Bud Lights (how could I refuse the second?).
We didn’t eat (not even sure if they serve food) however the bartender was great and the drinks were cheap and strong — my motto. See you soon Magoo’s!
