Market Mohawk Apartments

Cute apt. Way overpriced. $ 895 for a tiny one bedroom? Management is rude and maintenance issues were pretty crazy. Wouldn’t recommend it considering German Village is just across the highway.

I just moved into Market Mohawk on 7÷30÷2011. The air conditioner did not work in my unit. They then came to fix the air conditioner only to leave it dripping water onto the carpet. This has clearly been happening for quite some time, as there is a water mark that goes down the corner of the wall. After calling again, they finally fixed it and it is now working. In addition, the door to one of the bedrooms did not close, so they had to fix this as well. The dish washer did not work, and I informed them about this 4 days ago. It is still not working and they have yet to fix/​replace it. On top of this, the washer/​drier does not work either and they have yet to fix it. If you move in, make sure to check EVERYTHING very thoroughly. Run the dish washer, washer, drier, a/​c, etc. Not only that, but I have yet to get the garage and parking space I am paying for because the landlord said his maintenance guy is using it as a work shed, WHILE I AM PAYING FOR IT! Do not move into this complex.

If you want to live downtown in an apartment and grow vegetables in your own backyard, this would be a good place to consider. There are on-​site parking spaces for all residents and some even have their own garage.
The rental office is within the apartment complex and staff are always helpful and friendly. While there are plenty of realtors or property management staff who don’t bother to return calls or follow up, their service and professionalism really stand out.
