Friendly people manning the desk, alto a few seem superficial. Our room has had a noisy sanyo refrigerator, tonight the front panel of the ac/heat fell off, the floor tile in the bathroom is cracked, the toilet stool is not tight to the floor. The Microtel has these conservation signs one on the phone desk between the beds states that to conserve Natural Resources bed linens are changed every other day and the departure day, we have been here since Monday night(Wed) and the same linens are on the beds. They have a strict pet policy, yet they keep a exotic bird in the office. The facial tissue dispenser had one tissue in it tonight. The floor is a blend of coco brown, beige, off white and blue and has been dirty since our arrival. They are $ 10.00 less than the hotel next door, but are not close to them in clean and comfortable home away from home feel. Other guests expressed dissatisfaction with the limited breakfast Honey buns which are sold at gas stations for $ 0.50 just put in a waffle o this morning. Yes, we stayed once and that is enough. The three stars is being kind.

I think a hotel review is based mainly on how you are greeted upon check in, your next door neighbors during your stay, and if the front desk personnel bids you well when you leave. I have to say that the walls in this hotel location do not have sound attenuation board which does not allow sound to transfer between walls. So, you hear everything going on next door at this location. David, at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Another person I dealt with was not. When a guest leaves your hotel, you say«thank you for staying with us.» After all, this is part of the hospitality industry. Oh well. If you stay here, make sure you get a room that is not facing the main road… walls are thick but the windows are thin. Breakfast are Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, coffee, bagels, and orange juice. You might save 30 clams by staying here compared to the place next door, but I do not know if it is worth it. :)
