Midwest Retina

I have an eye condition, I was recommended to Midwest Retina. My first visit seemed helpful, Dr. Chorich recommended me some medication and eye drops. However, a week later I had a horrible reaction to the medication, so I call his office that day. They don’t call me back until the end of the day, only to tell me «this medication wouldn’t have caused the reaction you have.» That was it, and he even recommended that I Continue on the meds; MEANWHILE the drug information warns of the exact reaction that I had. A couple months later, I go in for my follow up. I sit in the waiting room for over an hour. and finally I get up to reschedule my appt (it’s clear that his office scheduled multiple people at the same appointment time as me, they are getting called back one by one and people are SLEEPING in the waiting room they have been waiting so long). The receptionist acts puzzled as to why I would like to reschedule, and then tells me that this waiting time is normal. This is not the type of doctor/​patient relationship I value AT ALL, and it’s clear that they don’t value me either. I will not be back, and I would certainly never recommend them to anyone. Go elsewhere!
