Being able to walk into an urban park, downtown, during a workday, to buy the same pizza I buy at 2am on High Street after coming out of Skullys Ladies Eighties? Yes! Admittedly, eating this in an office while wearing a suit has a different feel than the late night, waited in line debauchery, but thankfully it is really good thin style pizza and not some regrettable pizza bought for convenience(a role many late night eateries fill). This location also has tater tots. Do they go with pizza? It seems that they do. Mikey’s is expanding because it is a solid product. Decent staffers at every location I have been to so far — three and counting to date — and a quality consistent New York style thin crust. Read about the slut sauce in other reviews. I don’t use it, but many swear it is fantastic.

A nice place to get a decent slice of pizza at Columbus Commons. I love their hummus plate, served with warm pita.

We were at Columbus Commons on Friday for their kids event and wanted to grab a quick lunch. I got two slices of pizza and they were delicious. It was a crowded event so we had to wait a few minutes nothing worse than I expected, especially since I didn’t order a whole pizza, but individual slices. Would definitely recommend for a quick, delicious bite at the park.

Mikey’s Late Night Slice is a classic Columbus tradition. Great snack after a night of partying in the Short North, and a great dinner for a night of music down at the Columbus Commons! The selection isn’t huge, but from what I’ve had they make up for it with quality in all their options. My personal favorite is the spicy pepperoni, but be prepared — when they say spicy they mean it! Service was quick and friendly, and the price was very affordable. If the food trucks aren’t there, it’s hard to go wrong with a slice of Mikey’s.

I really enjoyed Mikey’s! I got a slice of mushroom, my husband got a slice of spicy peperoni And my son got the mac&cheese nugs. It was all very good and conceinently located at the Columbus commons.

This is honestly some of the worst service I have experienced. After waiting for the manager to finish arguing with the customer in line ahead of me about what she should order, the manager seemed annoyed to take my order. It took another 20 minutes to get my pizza, during which the staff seemed more focused on arguing than on making any food. I know this is not high class dining but I expected a little more when I spent $ 18 on a single pizza

Don’t be deceived! This late night slice is anything but late night! Probably because there aren’t people hanging out here most late nights yet. Maybe they’ll extend hours when there’s more bigger audiences there later? I was at a concert recently and it was clear that they’d closed at 7 or 8(the concert went to 10) so I was a little disappointed that I didn’t have any pizza to enjoy at the show. Also, the infamous slut-sauce has been slightly censored. I like the other locations of Mikey’s much better. As with most of the mikey’s locations, the wait-time tends to be long but that pizza is mighty tasty and worth the wait.

Worst food service experience in all my years in Columbus I have been in Columbus since 2004, eaten many many places since then. My experience today at Late night slice(the Columbus Commons location) takes the cake as my worst food experience EVER. It is lunch time, I get in line at 12:48pm to order food for myself and a few others. I noticed a lot of people were waiting for their food and did not want to become one of them, but it was insisted upon so I waited patiently in line. 15 minutes later I was finally able to put in my order. I figured it would take a while so I put more money in my parking meter then came back to wait. After 35 minutes(no kidding, 35 minutes) of no food I went up to the counter to tell them I had to leave(which I did for work). The worker’s response was«we’re really busy today.» What kind of response is that??? I said I can’t wait any longer I just want my money back. He then replied«you can either get something else or wait 5 minutes.» are you serious??? I said, no refund. My money was refunded and I left my group to run to my car before I got a ticket from CPD. There is no excuse for such an experience in my opinion, NONE. I will never go to this Late Night Slice again, and will advise everyone I know the same.

Two words, pizza dog. This mikey’s opening up is a dangerous place, as in dangerous to my waistline. Easily the best pizza downtown. Fast service, delicious everytime. Haven’t even gotten into their extended lunch menu or breakfast menu yet. I believe that due to licensing they can’t sell their cans of faygo here, but everything else is just the same as any other mikeys. Remember, pizza dog!

I was at Columbus Commons for free Shakespeare and happened to wander over during the intermission to see if there was anything on the menu that was Lea-friendly. To my surprise, they have a vegan pizza! It’s a small individual pie with sauce and vegan cheese for $ 5. Optionally, you can add mushrooms and/or banana peppers for $ 1 more. It was not terribly different from a small Amy’s pizza you might get out of the freezer at a grocery store, but it’s excellent to have that option for when you’re in the vicinity(e.g., taking in free Shakey) or out with dairy-eating friends. Big props to Mikey’s for making that option available. Next time I’ll have to try these tater tots.

The newest LNS location is providing the same great pizza, but during daytime hours. And there are tater tots! Service is still friendly and fast. Great to have as a lunchtime option downtown!
