This place is a gem! The gyro and fries were amazing, the Baklava was delicious, and I can’t say enough for the wonderful service. Wonderful food, wonderful people.

Super friendly service. They obviously take pride in what they do. Will return next time I’m at the convention center.

The family that runs this joint are energetic and friendly. I had the gyro and fries combo. Gyro was pretty good and the fries were great.

Service was very friendly. Ate here twice on my trip. First time I just got a gyros and large fresh brewed iced tea. The gyros was good. Second time I tried the eggplant and ground beef and potato dish. It was good but they just cut a piece off and microwaved it. My favorite part was actually the salad. YUM!

Order the Dolmathes! Have a Gyro and don’t leave with out the Fries! Why? Because this unassuming place in a food court has mass foodie cred!

Nice Saturday lunch. Started with her homemade dolmathes. fresh, tasty not sludgy, excellent! Had a gyro sandwich with greek salad on the side, very good! Took a falafel sandwich to go, also most excellent. Splurged on a again homemade dessert. Highly recommend, great casual Greek food.

This place is awesome!!! Greek salad had tons of feta and a nice creamy dressing. Gyro was also fantastic. The lady who served me was singing while assembling my order. She obviously takes pride in the food she serves.

This is the only place in Columbus I go for gyros. The french fries that comes with it are just as delicious.

Awful! Gyros loaded with dill(I was expecting a wonderful tzatziki) — everything was cold and bland. Do not eat here.

I love mykonos, and is now the only place I’ll eat at in the GCCC food court. The same greek family is always there running it, and they’re such nice people. They have some pretty hearty and cheap breakfast options(western omelette and toast for $ 7). But honestly any meal of the day is good. Try the moussaka, tastes amazing because they make it daily.

Oh my! What in the hay-hay is this? Delicious Greek food in a convention center food court? No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, and neither will your stomach if you stop by Mykono’s. A hole in the wall/food court restaurant… now, that is indeed a first. Most food courts are over-run and highly expected to produce chain food establishments to cater to the desires and wants of a busy traveler, work week zombies, or convention go-ers, but enough of that, I must concur that this food is absolutely and terrifyingly G-O-O-D. I am thankful for such a different food court experience here in the C-Bus. The lunch special is really the best option which contains a Gyro, your choice of soup, salad, or fries and a fountain drink. Your belly will be satisfied, and your taste buds will be insanely happy. I will admit, though… I am no Greek connoisseur, and have only eaten at a handful or Greek places within my lifetime, but what I don know about Mykono’s is that the food was good and flavorful, my stomach was full, and my wallet wasn’t screaming mercy at the cash register. This is definitely a GO-TO place!

The best gyro I’ve ever had served by a sweet Greek lady right in the Convention Center food court. What a great treat to find good, fairly priced homecooked food. I also had a delicious homemade dessert that looked like a half moon cookie. Don’t know the name, but it was yummy.

Stopped here for lunch today. This was probably my 5th time and each time I’ve gotten the same thing — the gyro lunch special with a salad and drink for $ 6.95. OK, that’s a lie, I honestly did get the salad today but sometimes I get fries. As is stated below, these gyros are huge; in fact they’re bulging at the seems.(Not really. That is, the gyros do not have seems because they’re not actually sewn together. I’m just trying to be more figurative in my writing). Seriously though, for my last 3 visits I have ordered a second pita for another $ 0.75 and I make two sandwiches.(I must be some kind of genius!). I am usually served by the the same lady at the counter, and I presume her to be an owner. She is always extremely pleasant and very easy to take advantage of if you’re slick with the money exchange — No, I’m kidding!

I was surprised to get such a tasty lunch from a ‘food court’ in the convention center across from my hotel. Being unfamiliar with the area, I figured I would wander around and see what sounded good. This place seemed a little sketchy, because there are stick on letters pasted over the menu, handwritten items, and paper signs pasted everywhere. But, Greek food is ALWAYS a winner with me, so I gave it a shot. For seven dollars, I got a gyro, a side salad, and a drink. It was messy, but hot and authentic. I was eating pieces of gyro meat with my bare hands, if that tells you anything. They give you a ton of food, and you won’t want to waste any. If I ever get the chance to eat here again, I will order fries instead of the side salad. It was plain iceberg lettuce, four little tomato slices, a crapload of banana peppers, and a tangy vinaigrette. Nothing fancy. I definitely stole fries off a friend’s plate though, and they are tasty. Nice little surprise! I wish I could get this kind of fast lunch in Missouri!

What a gem in the Greater Columbus Convention Center food court! We got lunch here, and were pleased with both the food and the friendly service. My wife got the gyro platter, which was more than enough food for her, and I had the special of the day which was really tasty, and came with a drink. The«Greek» sauce on my pita sandwich was a little runnier than what I am used to in a tzatziki sauce on the west coast, but all was good. Not only good Greek food, but also friendly conversation with the lady at the counter. Like a grandmother, she wanted everyone to feel welcome at her restaurant. Seating is shared with the rest of the food court at the south end of the Greater Columbus Convention Center. I really wish my own local convention center had such a variety of food options.

:said with a HUGE smile: «Hello dear! How are you today dear! What can I get for you today, my dear?» This is how the woman at Mykonos will greet you, all day, everyday. You cannot be in a bad mood after that. It is not humanly possible to resist her energy. Take that, crabby downtown corporate zombies! To add to that, you’re about to get some bomb ass food court Greek. Best falafel gyro I’ve ever had — perfectly crunchy falafel, excess of veggies and delicious Greek sauce. Served with seasoned fries(DASHIZ!) and a Greek salad. Only 7 bucks! More food than I could eat, less money than I would expect to spend. I’ve also had their hummus — good. The freshly baked pita it’s served with — better. I haven’t tried their breakfast food yet, but it’s on my to-do list! A hidden-in-the-convention-center kickass downtown lunch spot.
