The girl that did my nails took over an hour and did a poor job. They were uneven, the airbrushing came off in the same day, and she cut me with the file. I went to a different salon immediately to get them fixed.

I searched all over Columbus for a nail salon that had a wait for a walk in of less than an hour and this was the only place I found… and now I know why. They were priced about the same as the other nail salons I’ve been to in Columbus, so that was fine, but the quality of their work was not good. The guy who did my nails(I got a full set of acrylic nails with the white tips, which apparently costs more than plain acrylic for some reason) left a big gap between my cuticle and the acrylic which I thought wouldn’t be a big deal(why I thought that, I have no idea) so within a couple days my nails looked like they had been grown out and in need of being balanced for weeks! It seemed like they intentionally left larger gaps than usual so you would have to come back more often for a balance. Or maybe I am just crazy, or that one guy didn’t know how to do nails very well, but I was very unsatisfied. I would have gone back to request that they fix my nails, but I had to get on a plane the next day so I didn’t have time. I hate to give bad reviews, but when I do have a little bit of money to treat myself(and a full set of acrylic nails aren’t cheap!), I’d rather spend it somewhere that does better quality nails.

This place was not bad. Very clean, friendly service. It is located right next to Marshalls, which is where I was headed to, so I popped in for a manicure. I have NO idea why I couldn’t find a nail salon on high street near campus, my guess is scrubby OSU girls are unrefined. Shrug. The prices are a more than I pay in Chicago. It was $ 16 for a manicure and an advertised $ 40 for mani/pedi. The quality was good, nothing spectacular, but thorough.
