Who can resist not buying popcorn when you walk by smelling it. Most people I assume! This was a new twist on popcorn for me as Pam has at least 20 flavors all the time of freshly made popcorn on many sizes to go! I never liked flavored popcorn, yet I will sample and eat any of Pams Market Popcorn!
First of all this popcorn is always nice and fresh! You can go as traditional as you want or go all out and try the flavored popcorns she has.
I highly recommend if you like popcorn at all to be sure to stop by Pams Market Popcorn and get some to go for later if you don’t want it now while at the North Market!

SO good! Pam is a gem! In town for work stumbled upon north market. The smell of popcorn pulled me in. The Chicago style was addictive. The Caramel is good but better mixed with cheddar which is the Chicago style.

One thing that is particularly amazing about this business is the flavors and variety. Every time I go there is something new! A popcorn business that makes nachos doesn’t sound like a match made in heaven, until you try them.
Pam has her core flavors every week of things like cheese, caramel, sweet n salty (kettle), butter, etc. There are seasonal and experimental flavors always and, more often than not, they’re incredible. Her sealed bags make for great gifts and she is more than willing to organize popcorn for any party, shower, wedding, and so on.
Worth every penny!

I will go ahead and get my disclaimer out of the way, but I LOVE popcorn. Pam’s popcorn satisfies that craving with some the best popcorn I have ever had (white cheddar). There are a plethora of flavors to choose from, and I have never been disappointed with my selections. The market can be a little hectic on the weekends, and the prices are a little steep, but well worth it.

Best popcorn around! Also, best place to buy popcorn kernels — always fresh unlike at grocery store. My daughter says this is the first place she wants to come once she gets her braces off!

This is by far the best popcorn in the city. White cheddar and butter mixed together is my new favorite.

The bacon n cheese popcorn was to die for! Large pieces of delicious bacon surrounded by yummy cheese popcorn what else could you ask for? The owner was really nice and helpful.

I’m a popcorn snob so I was excited to see this in North Market. I bought a small ad of white cheddar and was thoroughly disappointed. It kinda tasted stale. It was later in the day, so maybe it wasn’t necessarily popped fresh, but either way it was not what I expected, especially for the money. I will try another flavor again but definitely not this one. Maybe I should’ve followed the reviews and selected a different kind!

My favorite place to buy pre-​popped and popcorn kernels in the city. I invested in the 3.5 gallon tin and get refills for about half the original price. Pam even made more of her pepper purgatory flavor just for me when I came in to refill my tin recently. Love this spicy flavor! I also love the cheesy cheddar and caramel flavors. Be on the lookout for seasonal flavors, there’s always something new to try!

Once again, I’m a bit spoiled by goods that I’m used to in the Cleveland market. Pam’s popcorn was good. I opted for the Chicago Mix, which was fresh and tasty, but the cheese was just a bit artificial tasting and the caramel, just was a bit too sweet for me. Doesn’t compare to Garrett’s in Chicago (my fave!), nor Campbells in Cleveland.

This was my first visit to not only Pam’s Market Popcorn but to the North Market itself. Everyone was so nice. I’m not a huge popcorn fan but my hubby can’t get enough of it. I tasted some and it was so delicious. I highly recommend this place.

I stopped by Pam’s looking to possibly get some as gifts for family members in NC who love popcorn. The workers were super helpful and let me sample a few different flavors before deciding. The price wasn’t too bad either, and all of the flavors I tried were excellent (coming from someone who could care less about popcorn). They asked me a movie trivia question at checkout to get $ 1 off my $ 7 order and I missed it– she gave me $.25 off anyway! The workers are super friendly and the popcorn is very creative and delicious. A popcorn lovers dream I would bet!

The popcorn is the best and the staff is always friendly!

There’s not a lot I can write for a review here, except that it’s a great place to buy popcorn. I don’t actually get the pre-​popped stuff. I just buy the kernel corn. There aren’t a lot of places you can buy varietal popcorn and know that its good stuff.
Though Pam’s is the place for it!

The Chicago Cheddar and Sweet & Salty flavors are my favorites. Yes, your fingers will turn orange when eating the Chicago Cheddar flavor but it’s a small price to pay for this deliciousness.
If you’ve bought a tin and bring it back for refills, it’s half price (plus $ 2 if it’s any of the cheddar flavors). Pam has a twitter account which includes special deals but I don’t think it’s been used in a year or so.
In the past, Pam’s Market Popcorn has been available at the Wexner Center Drive-​In Movie series for Wexner Center members.

Pam is great, very nice, loves what she does and had great popcorn! Sure it might be a bit pricey but itt is well worth it and the best popcorn I have ever had. I tried the caramel tuxedo, hannibal crunch, scarlet and gray and the jacked caramel apple and all were very very good, I recommend stopping by at your next trip to the North Market.

Pam’s popcorn is one of the best stands in the North Market. It’s a great snack, a fantastic gift, it’s surprisingly healthy, and because Pam makes everything herself, you can always ask questions and find out about the various flavors.
I love the sweet /​savory combo of her chicago popcorn mix, combining cheese and caramel, but Pam also does a great job in catering to my capsaicin addiction with her Painful Pepper Purgatory — a white cheddar based popcorn laced with spicy, flavorful seasoning!
Pam also does «event» flavors at various times of the year — some of my favorites were a scarlet and grey coloured vanilla buttercream coated popcorn, mint flavored green popcorn for St. Patrick’s day, or spicy habanero caramel for the Fire and Flavor festival!
You can grab a small bag to snack on for as cheap as a few dollars, or load up with a massive tin filled with multiple flavors for $ 100 — it all depends on how you want to indulge, and what you have in mind. Pam also offers a great refill program for her tins that will give you reduced price fill ups when you return!

If you’ve ever had the famous Windy City popcorn from Garret’s then you can be assured Pam’s is as close to Chicago style goodness as it gets. Be adventurous and get the cheese and caramel mixed… you might want to request a glove if you have to go back into the office or out on the town. You will have wonderfully cheesy fingers!
What impresses me about Pam is her altruism. She regularly sends popcorn care packages and more to troops stationed overseas. Just check her photo board to see how the soldiers loved their taste of home. Hopefully, she will be able to continue strategically partnering with different efforts to include more in the packages and to offset her shipping costs (that’s where your tip jar money goes to).
