Hit this place for lunch quite often. Great local deli with a wide selection of healthy food options. Love the vegetarian selections. Nice to see some healthier local options in Columbus.

This is a great stop that’s not too far off of highway 65. It takes about 5 minutes to get there but totally worth it. I had the Tex-Mex Chicken Soup and a half of the People Pleaser sandwich. Both were delicious. My wife had the Turkey Delight and she said that that’s an appropriate name because it was delightful. She liked the coleslaw as well. The place was packed at noon, but they were super-efficient at getting the food out. A great selection of drinks and a comfortable environment. I’m giving it 5 stars because I don’t think we could have made a better choice and we would definitely stop here again.

In Columbus on business and gave the deli a try on the recommendations of my hosts. I ordered a Reuben sandwich. Over the years I’ve come to expect that a Reuben will be grilled with dressing and sauerkraut spilling out with every bite… What I got was a microwaved sandwich on sort-of-rye. The flavor was good — it just wasn’t my east-coast deli expectation. I’ll try them tomorrow and will stick with what has been reviewed and I’ll certainly upgrade my review if the next experience is better!

They have the best chicken salad. Two to choose from! I love the gyros, too. Desserts are to die for!

A basic deli with quality food and very friendly staff. I am an out-of –towner who frequents the deli — yet, it didn’t take long for the staff to learn my name. The cheesy tomato soup is my favorite, however, I am rarely disappointed with the special of the day.

I really enjoy this local deli. Friendly staff, fast service, good food, free wifi, and typically a free copy of the newspaper floating around. They serve hot & cold sandwiches, 2 – 3 rotating soup choices, sides(fruit, potato salad, etc), desserts(typically 1 or 2 cake choices and cookies), fresh-brewed coffee and both hot and iced tea, Coke foutain and bottled drinks, and breakfast as well. Prices are very reasonable. Sandwiches are all good, but not awesomely-great. Same goes for the soup. Recently added a bunch of different bread choices to the menu, which was a long-needed item… their standard white and wheat breads are pretty boring. They also have daily lunch specials in the form of not-on-the-menu sandwiches that are often more interesting than what’s on the menu. The only thing I wish this place had was more than 4 potato chip choices.

When I’m in Columbus, I always hit up Papa’s Deli. Either the Third Street«new» deli, or the other one on IN-46 and Chesnut.(I think the latter is the better one, but they’re pretty much the same.) If you haven’t tried it, check out the Columbus Connection. It’s a delicious vegetarian wrap — avacado, sprouts, red onion, mayo, and cream cheese in a Spinach wrap. Delicious. Very friendly staff, too.

I had a hearty ham and cheese sandwich on an old-fashioned squishy white roll. These cold cuts taste darn good and were piled up very nicely. Sandwich construction is sometimes an art. Served with low-fat potato chips and cottage cheese for dipping. I totally forgot about cottage cheese and how delicious it is and yes, it is good with chips –great idea! Also, nice bathroom. All that and a drink for $ 5.90.
