Really solid Chinese carry out. Good food. Great prices, especially at lunch. Generous portion sizes. I’d you’re Unilocal’ing in this neighborhood, then you know the neighborhood it’s in … Good food, cheap prices, big portions, friendly people. Solidly deserving of 4 stars. I’ll be back… Next week.

Can’t complain about a thing! This was my first take-out Chinese experience here in Columbus, and I must say it was beyond what I was expecting. Very friendly service. I ordered the spring rolls, beef chow mien(not usually something I get) and the wonton soup; and It was all awesome! Beyond what I was expecting portion wise too, I had one plate and have so much left! Yum! I recommend

This place gets good reviews, so I decided to try it. It is not bad by any means, but not worthy of 5 stars in my opinion. Not sure what everyone is smoking to get on their hands & knees for it. I had the General Tso’s Chicken(extra spicy) with white rice & an egg roll, as well as an order of chicken lo mein. The chicken was good, not chewy or hard, nice & hot, and well coated with sauce. 9⁄10 times at these types of places extra spicy really isn’t all that much spicier. The same can be said here. It did have a nice flavor to it though. The rice was nice & fluffy. I was disappointed they didn’t include broccoli pieces in it like a lot of places do. I’m a huge chicken lo mein fan, but this one wasn’t my favorite. I find it’s very hit or miss in these strip mall joints. The oil it was cooked in was decent, not the greatest, & they added in minced red chili pepper(or Thai bird?) peppers to it. Very out of place, giving it a weird taste & texture. Please leave this out of the noodles. I hate egg rolls unless they’re homemade, but this one was pretty good. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with them. Though I have many more items to sample, I think I’ll try other places first for my usual dish I order. I’ve only encountered one generic Chinese joint in my 28 years of life that absolutely blew me away with perfect spice & great noodles, but sadly it’s in Naples, FL. This place is in the ghetto with shady people walking around, so bring weapons & friends! Overall an average experience, but I will say the prices are reasonable. Bout $ 15.25 for my feast. The woman who took my order was friendlier than others I’ve encountered.

Since moving downtown, I’ve been searching for a reliable Chinese takeout place. Lots of places are hit-or-miss in the German Village/downtown area. This spot lives up to its great reviews. For $ 20 we got a quart of wonton soup and two large entrees. The wontons were plentiful and substantial, and the broth was very tasty. The ingredients in the entrees tasted fresh, and they had tons of vegetables. Nothing was overly greasy or too salty. Two entrees were enough for our Oscar watching night and lunch the next day. Worth the drive down Broad Street to get to this spot. I’ll be back for sure.

I was blown away by this tiny little hole in the wall Chinese place! Everything we’ve ordered here was top notch and very very affordable!(Under $ 3 for a small plain lo-mein, yall!) It’s located in a little strip mall on W. Broad, it’s not the fanciest place or on the ritzy side of town or anything, but this place has some good eats and is one of the West side’s many diamonds in the rough! The restaurant has 3 or 4 tables and seats about 12 – 15. Check out the dumplings, egg rolls, lo mein and kung pao chicken! They have lots of veggie options too! Everything is always cooked fresh to order and the staff are very friendly!

Had the boneless ribs for appetizer, delicious. Order general tso chicken and pork with broccoli. Side of lo mein and pork fried rice. I live in Grandview for 3 years now, will drive to this place from now on. Delicious food and CLEAN! Prices are average. My new favorite place for Chinese food in Columbus.

I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. I get lunch here while I’m at work pretty regularly and it’s always amazing. The lunch special is a great deal(I can usually make two meals out of it) at under $ 6. The food is always made fresh and piping hot, with lots of crispy fresh veggies. I’m also partial to their hot and sour soup. Plus, you can see straight back through the kitchen and it is always spotlessly clean, which I really appreciate.

When you live downtown, it’s hard to find a restaurant that is a true carry out dive. Usually end up getting something that is dine in, but taking it out to order, which typically makes it more expensive. Not this place! I have to say it’s a breath of fresh air. Peking Wok is primarily a carry out only establishment that makes it easy to throw on sweats, walk in and walk out with delicious, American-Chinese. I had the general tsos and I’m STUFFED, with eggrolls for 7.00. It’s West Broad street surroundings are mildly sketchy, but It’s the bottoms. Just don’t stare directly at anyone, and this place is 5 star.

BESTCHINESETAKEOUTYOUCANGETINCOLUMBUS! Their combo meals are less than $ 7, and you get a ton of food plus an egg roll. Their garlic chicken and sweet and sour chicken is so good, and seriously the best I have had anywhere around, and I am very particular about my Chinese food. Everyone that works there is friendly, and regardless of how busy they are, I have never waited an unreasonable amount of time to get my order. I don’t even bother going anywhere else!

just went there and got sweet and sour chicken combo for 6.75. In less then 10 mins I am headed home with a large portion of yumminess and they are very nice there. I forgot to say no bean sprouts and as it turns out that wasn’t a mistake as they only throw a few in the fried rice and it was really good. So far my favorite place on the west broad street side :) Good Food, clean establishmen, fast, hot, fresh and so tasty!

Got an aching for Chinese food? Come to Peking Wok. Just tried this small mom and pop for some take out. Very impressed I was. Nothing to look at. This place seats 20 people max. Come for the food and fair prices. I got the Szechuan Chicken with Fried Rice and a small order of Hot and Sour Soup. All very excellent. Portions were very good and as usual I ate half for lunch and had the other half for dinner. Szechuan Chicken was spicy, with a hint of smokeyness. Plenty of sauce but not too much. Generous amounts of chicken, with baby corn, green bean, mushroom, bamboo and water chestnuts. The fried rice was excellent as it also had some bean sprouts, and onion in it. The soup was spicy and hearty with plenty of stuff in it. The food was more what I’d expect in a moderately priced Chinese restaurant, not a hole in the wall, family owned place. I will definitely go back again and try more. Of my last three Chinese restaurant reviews, this one is by far the best and it doesn’t cost any more than the others. My order by the way was only $ 5.25. If you are driving down Broad Street in Franklinton, check them out.
