Persnickity

I found this salon on Unilocal.I am just visiting. I needed an Updo for a military ball. Meri did a fantastic job! Everyone was extremely friendly. I left feeling like we were old friends! Pricing was very reasonable.

Before I write my review, I want to point out that whoever created this business on Unilocal spelled the salon’s name wrong. It’s PersnickEty. (With an E, not an I).
Persnickety is in The Landings, my favorite place to shop. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted nicely. My appointment was with Meri Cook. She sat me down and we talked for probably 10 minutes about exactly what I wanted done. Then she gave me a wonderful shampoo! I could go to sleep! Before she started with the haircut, she asked if I wanted a soda or something else to drink — extra points! :) I love good customer service and good hospitality! Then to the cut, blow dry, and style — PERFECTION. Not once did she yank or pull my hair, she was gentle and careful the entire time. So many stylists are very rough when styling, but not her. She also didn’t pressure me to buy any product. I absolutely love the cut, she didn’t take too much off and made sure I was completely happy when she was finished. The first thing my husband said when I got home was «Oh wow, your hair looks good today!» :) Sealed the deal, she will be getting my business from now on!

Not a fan. Too high pressure. Let the products sell themselves by showing me how great my hair looks. Did not get what I asked for from the hairdresser. Will not be returning.
