Really disappointed in tonight’s delivery — we live 3 blocks away and I ordered a gluten free pizza. The pizza arrived 15 minutes later than expected and it was cold. Will not be ordering delivery again.

Good pizza and subs. We mostly eat Primo Pizza when at Studio 35 seeing a movie. Really good, high quality ingredients and pizza toppings. good stuff.

If you hang out on Indianola long enough then you’re bound to get a whiff of Pizza Primo stationed in a small spot under the old«Clintonville Pizza» sign. Heavenly smells of greasy, pizza goodness wafts along. especially Friday nights. Well, it certainly caught my attention, so we decided to order a pie and sub to go. By the time we got home it was nice and congealed and still worthy of being a decent pizza. The sub was alright. It wasn’t anything godly amazing, but it was your basic Italian sub. No glitz… no glamour. They also deliver to Studio 35 for patrons there. It’s just your run of the mill Ohio style pizza, but it’s quality in crust and not cheapening out on the sauce and toppings will surely make me stop again if I’m in the area shopping around and looking for a pie to go.

All I can say is yuck! I I have lived in Clintonville for 8 years and I have tried this pizza on 3 different occasions and every time it was gross. I would say it is mostly tastes like mediocre cheese and sauce on a soggy wet cracker. No good…

So I’ve started custom creating calzones whenever at Studio 35. I’m preferring to us BBQ sauce as a base and work in mushrooms, pineapple and other toppings like onion or olives. Weird combo I know, but the salty sweet really does work well. Dough is great, and get the large size and take home leftovers. It’s only a couple bucks more, you get a good amount more and it’s just darn tasty.

I’m from NJ and I guess I’m always disappointed by Ohio pizza. First of all, there’s a reason its called a pie — it should be cut in wedges, not squares. Secondly, pizza is only as good as its sauce and this sauce was terrible. Not sure what they use as their base, but it sure wasn’t San Marzano tomatoes and fresh garlic. We ordered the thin crust pizza, which wasn’t like any pizza crust I’ve ever had; it didn’t have any flavor, and it was much closer to a cracker. I really, really wanted to like this pizza but I’m going to keep looking. The owners were incredibly pleasant. I just wish they’d get a better recipe

Pizza Primo is on our neighborhood pizzeria rotation list. Pizza has always been carryout or delivery. They do have some booths so you can order and eat here. Or if you’re going to catch a movie at Studio 35 you can eat it here first before heading over to the theater. I’ve noticed the smaller the pizza, the more cheese it has. No complaints about that in my house. For delivery they’ll accept cash or credit card. The dog goes crazy when people knock on the door. Yet the delivery people are always nice about it. The dog barks so much we can’t hear each other for a minute. They all seem to be dog people — relaying stories about their own dogs, asking questions about our dog, and so on. Every delivery person is pleasant.

This has become our go to pizza place, but I’m torn about the rating. If 3.5 was an option, I’d go with that. Sometimes the pizzas are excellent… and other times not so much. So what makes it a 4 star pizza — the price is so darn good. There are deals and coupons on most days, the pizza is ready in 15 minutes every time, and it’s right around the corner from our house. I recommend getting the pizza well done, as I do think how crispy it is makes a big difference.

Good pizza, especially on buy one get one free night. I really like their crust, it’s pretty thin and crispy, kind of like a cracker, but in a good way. Had the jalapeño poppers once and they were okay. Had a salad here and it was okay too. Just stick with the pizza, and as a plus, if you’re at studio 35, they’ll deliver so you can eat pizza and enjoy your movie.

This is my local pizza place and I’m definitely a fan. I went through this period of eating salad every Wednesday and decided PP was where I was going to get it from. In terms of salad you don’t feel like making yourself, it’s basic but good. But the best part of this place is their pizza. The pizza’s not crazy priced and it’s good. I love their thick crust pepperoni, but there’s not a pizza from here I haven’t loved. Also, when you go to Studio 35, you can have their pizza WHILEYOUWATCH A MOVIE. It doesn’t even take that long after you order it. You just go back out and there your pizza is, waiting for you. It’s basically pretty magical. You should do it! I wouldn’t go dining in at this place-there’s seating(maybe three booths), but there is a humongous oven in this place. I strongly discourage you staying there in the summer because that place is like Dante’s Inferno. Get in and get out! All in all, these guys are fast and efficient. Give it a shot!

They claim their cheese is all mozzarella. WRONG — it is definitely blended with something stronger. I’m not sure what the fascination is in Columbus, with not using just mozzarella on pizza… no wonder this city mostly sucks for pizza, literally and figuratively. And if the blended cheese is not bad enough, the people working here don’t even know what they are selling. ARGH!!!

This place is convenient, fast, and reasonably priced. If you’ve ever ordered food at Studio 35, this is where the food comes from. I especially love getting pizza here on Thursdays from 3:30−6 when the deal is buy one get one free pizza, pick up only. My favorite is BBQ chicken. The white and supreme pizzas are also good. I’m not a fan of the veggie combo here.

Clintonville«Pizza Primo» is right down the block from me and was the first pizza I tried upon moving to Columbus a year ago. First off, I do have to give props to the Midwest for the square pizza action. This makes sharing pizza with others way easier because the slices are smaller. Also I like those wacky little uneven pieces that are mostly crust and some burnt cheese. Anyway, the first pizza I ordered was the Hawaiian. I was presented with a thin crust pizza with pineapple, ham, slivered almonds, and various seasonings(cinnamon?). This place is a takeout joint so this creative little gourmet twist was a surprise. But it is so delicious, my friends. In fact, I rarely get a chance to try their other pizzas because I always want the Hawaiian! But the veggie is also delicious. The guys who work there are super friendly; in the summer you can see them chilling outside to beat the hot pizza kitchen heat. I’ve never had anything delivered since I live so close, but the wait time for pickup is less than 20 minutes. Finally and best of all, it’s cheap. Clintonville Pizza is solid fare. More people from the Short North should venture up here and check it out!

For a traditional pizza that is not too expensive, this is a great spot. The crust is always nice and crispy around the edge, the toppings are good, and I love how the pepperonis get curled up and crispy around the edges a little. Super quick delivery, and piping hot when it got here.

I will always refer to you as Clintonville Pizza, because as a neighbor of yours, I want our burg to be represented by you guys. If you like thin rust pizza, do yourself a favor and go here. FAST and delicious. Great prices! Friendly staff. The Spaghetti dinner is large and amazing. Thank you for doing it right!

I was really surprised by how good their pizza is! The pepperoni was baked to a nice crispness! Salad was tasty and fresh too. Called and had it delivered. Friendly staff answering the phones. Will definitely order again!

One of my favorite pizzas in Clintonville. Nice thin crust and good toppings. Pepperoni is my fav, but the supreme is nice because they use really good sausage. They charge for delivery. Order on Thursday nights. The pick up special is BOGO free until 6pm. Great deal!
