Excellent sandwiches with good bread. I love the «Cam», a variation on the muffaletta. The Club is pretty good as well. Red beans and Gumbo are decent. Really nice al fresco dining at a beautiful setting on a lake. Best sandwiches and best outdoor dining for many miles around. Proffitt’s is the only restaurant in the area which has never disappointed me.

Worth the visit for the experience. Really back woods, but they have mostly sandwiches, salads and some southern food. The red beans and rice are decent, but from what I can tell the pie is where it is at. I would recommend stopping to sit on the high porch and take in some fresh air and a nice piece of pie.

Went here with a group of friends. What a great place! Waitresses were extremely friendly and service was awesome! Highly recommended for anyone that is looking for something different. Great sandwiches and red beans and rice! I will definitely be coming back here on multiple occasions! Use google maps to find this place and not the location that shows up on the standard iPhone map.

In a town with very few good dining options this is one of the better ones. The menu is limited with mostly sandwiches, and things like gumbo and red beans and rice. Some of the sandwiches are quite good, but the must-​have item is the chocolate chess pie. It is awesome! The other redeeming quality of the place is its great setting on a lake. A nice, peaceful place for lunch or dinner when you’re stuck in the cultural void that is Columbus.

Food is greasy, and overpriced. No one greeted us and we had to wait to be seated when it wasn’t even busy. We have tried it twice and the same type of service happens. The only perk is the atmosphere.
