Clean food. Decent service. Big salads. Typical college town in that you have to get the right wait staff as some are indifferent. Pepperoni bread is good too.

Tried this place for the first time last night. We knew going in, we were going to order pizza to go, but have a drink while waiting. The staff was very friendly to all of the patrons that I could see, including us. I love that they have unique pizzas, and we ended up ordering a razorback and shrimp santori, with breadsticks. The wait took exactly the amount of time it took to finish our drinks… yay! The pizzas were exactly what I’d hoped for… since lately the pizzas in this town have been booooooooring. This will definitely be a new go to… and they deliver from 5pm-15 mins before closing!!!(If you live between 2nd St to US31, Central Ave to Washington St… and also in the area between Goeller/Terrace Lk Rd/Carr Hill) The breadsticks on the other hand… I think they either forgot to include an ingredient or didn’t bake them long enough… because they were flat pieces of raw dough. I’ll give the sticks another try bc I don’t think that was normal. Overall we were satisfied, and they definitely deserve a try.

I like my food but the portion was way too small. I ordered a lunch clam sauce pasta and it came w a small salad. The pasta was in, literally, a bowl same size as my cat’s food bowl. And it cost me 10 bucks. This price plus this level of restaurant u can eat stuffed in New York City. This place is overpriced.

From a gluten-free standpoint, it’s awesome! Yet it sometimes exceeds my college budget so I can only go there maybe once or twice a week. Despite its pricyness, Puccini’s is truly a magical place for those with Celiac or gluten sensitivity. They have an extensive dedicated gf menu and even go to the lengths of bringing out GF bread! This is a GF must!

Most poorly organized restaurant experience and slowest service I’ve ever had. Sat outside, which was pleasant, but there were at least 4 different servers for the 8 or so tables out there and we were all ignored. Seemed the kitchen was having trouble getting any food out. Took over an hour to get 2 pasta dishes. Asked for more bread to go with the pasta(we had eaten all of the original basket with soup/salad/while waiting) and we were told twice«We will make sure you get the bread free.» Really? An hour wait and that’s your best offer? Waitress was rude-said everyone had long wait for food(not totally true-and there were tables who ordered at the same time and after us who got there food long before we did), but ultimately offered to comp our meals. Did not take her up on it because that didn’t seem right. But we will not be back.

I got the Ultimate Warrior pizza for carry out. The pizza was great, definitely above average. I can’t speak on behalf of the service because it was a carry out order, but they seemed relatively friendly. I did end up waiting about 5 mins longer than the promised time. Given it was nearing closing time, I cut them some slack. Overall, glad I tried them. If you’re looking for ‘za in Columbus, they’re the place to go.

Food is good but the service is always bad. I’ve walked in several times to be completely ignored.

Today is the coldest day of the year and all I want is some hot, fresh pizza in my belly. I called to place an order for carry-out and was helped by a newer employee. She was having trouble telling her computerized order-taking machine that I didn’t want broccoli on my Veg-Head specialty pizza. I guess that’s what I get for being so picky. I walked in 7 minutes later, expecting to wait a bit. Nope! My pizza was waiting for me and much to my surprise, the pizza did NOT have broccoli. Columbus has a lot of good pizza to choose from and Puccinis keeps up with the best of them! Great sauce, out of the ordinary toppings, perfect crust. Get you some!

So I have been to this Puccini’s twice in the recent months, but the third time was not the charm. We went on the Saturday of Hot Rods and Rock and Roll and it looked like they where not prepared for the crowd. How as an owner or manager you would not see this event, 18th year it has been going on, and not have enough staff. Food was below average, we where there almost 2 hours, and many a people walked out. So for a place that has been good for lunch and even a take out order on a Saturday night, last night was really bad! The Pizza is normally pretty good, could have gotten better at Little Ceasers for $ 5. It came out cold too, which was really the icing on the cake for my group. I hope they get there act together and PAYATTENTIONTOEVENTSDOWNTOWNANDPREPARETOHAVESTAFF!!! 3 people working the dinning room with parties of 4 or more did not work.

We just visited Columbus from Birmingham, AL. After our architecture bus tour we had just enough time to grab a quick bite before taking the Miller House tour. Puccini’s was a short walk from the Visitor’s Center. It was fairly busy(around noon) but we were seated and tended to right away. The pepperoni pizza was very good. We tried a slice with all sorts of meats which was also good but the pepperoni was the best. Later that same day we ventured out for dinner around 8:30. Unfortunately every place was closing! so we went back to Puccini’s. The rosemary pasta was delicious. Boyfriend was very impressed by their homemade ranch dressing. Both our servers were very nice and our evening one was very knowledgeable and helped us with our out-of-towner questions. Seemed like a great little place for lunch during the work week or a casual dinner out. The food was delicious and better than we expected.

I had the lemon chicken something, it was okay. Their garlic bread was good but their salad sucked because they sprinkled parmasean cheese and croutons over questionable lettuce. My friend had the chicken parm and sent it back because the sauce tasted weird. The waiter said they make their own and I guess it sucks.

Have lunch in a beautiful day. Choose to stay outside but the flies are so annoying… First time to try the calzone. The dough and crust taste good. Chewy. Smells good too. But overall it is too oily.

Great pizza, breadsticks, and calzones! The pasta is average though, nothing impressive. Always clean, and a bright comfortable environment, but the staff usually consists of bored looking teenagers who are usually no more than passably good servers. Great location downtown near the Commons, parking garages, shops, etc. Many options available for gluten free eaters and vegetarians.

This place is Ok if ur expecting a clean bright neighborhood pizza place. But don’t expect their dinner entrees to compare with fine Italian food. Stick to the basics like pizza and calzones, and skip the fancier sounding pasta entrees, bec/they don’t know how to make it, and the servers don’t really know how to pronounce the names either. Oh, and heed the advice of other reviewers; DONOT order the Bruschetta. I wish I did not order it. It’s overpriced and NOT authentic. They dump some tomatoes on top of tiny cracker type pieces that came out of a box.

Good location, ambience and worst italian food ever. Brushetta was not fresh at all and also very very small qty for the price

Good portions for the price, tasty food and good selection on the menu. One of the moderately-recommended places to have lunch/dinner with friends. Expect a lot of crowd during lunch on weekdays.

Usually a great place to eat. The vegi lasagna is awesome as are the calizones. You gotta try the iceberg wedge salad… covered in bleu cheese and bacon — if you like flesh on your food. Tonight was the only and worse eating experience I have had here. Waitress accidently had a large pizza made when we ordered a medium, then she charges us the large price, and extra for the toppings too! The lettuce in the salad was brown in spots too. A 30 dollar meal and we hardly ate any of it. Hopefully the next visit will be the normal delicious food we have had before.

We eat here on a regular basis. Their lunch special is a very good bargain. Service is good with a very friendly waiters. While the Hawaiian style pizza is my favorite I have found the ham(Canadian bacon) and cheese sandwich to be very satisfying. Great place to watch the foot traffic in downtown Columbus; it’s been especially interesting with the Fourth street renovation.

Try the Razorback pizza — wow — pepperoni, smoked sausage, and bacon. The smoked sausage is wonderful and the bacon is cut super thin so it crisps up in a magical way. I’ve also had the linguine with white clam sauce and loved every bite of garlicky goodness.
