On the super rare occasion that I needed to take a drug test for a new job, apparently the only place in the entire city to pee in a cup at a reasonable appointment timeslot was quest diagnostics. Now, it’s been at least ten years since I had a drug test, probably more, but I don’t remember it being such a colossal pain. It’s bad enough that the place is not really possible to find based on the directions you’re given(not THAT brice rd, a different one, off Broad st. turn left onto Brice Rd. N. then turn left into the«Pentagon Medical Building», it’s in there, tucked away on the first floor). What made it worse was the way that the nurse(or practitioner, whatever qualification she had to handle pee cups), treated me like a criminal. I get that people will try and cheat on their tests, but that’s no reason to use an aggressive condescending tone, snap your gloves at me, and make me feel genuinely uncomfortable. Here’s to hoping it’s an experience I don’t have a need for anytime soon. But at least next time I’ll be able to find it.
