Decided to have this for breakfast since it was next to my departure gate. Normally I go further down B to a different restaurant if I want breakfast, but convenience won over this time. Atmosphere: it’s a terminal fast food joint. There’s very limited seating(3 tables for 2 people each). If you get there before others, you’ll probably be able to grab one of the seats. Staff: they were polite and got my order right. Food: well, it was okay. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheddar sandwich because I had a hankering for it. For some reason the size of their sandwich seemed much smaller than in an actual restaurant… and more expensive due to location. If you need to grab some breakfast in Terminal B, make sure you get to the airport early enough, get through TSA and sit down at a competitor restaurant at the end of B(yes sit down restaurant).

Barf. This was disgusting and the lady was mean. As Auntie Anne’s slogan aptly states, it’s the reason you get to the airport early. Apparently at 7:30 pm on a Thursday at CMH they’re already closed. Plan B for counter service: Quiznos. I haven’t been to a Quiznos in years, but from what I remember it’s like Subway and then it all gets toasted and I was a hungry, hungry hippo. So I ordered some Swiss cheese prime rib sandwich and the woman pulls this cylinder out of warm water with the meat in it & slaps it on a bun with cheese and mayo and onions. I asked her if she can add tomatoes and she says it doesn’t come with it but she’ll add it for me all harsh-like. Hmmm. So all-in-all I paid about $ 8 for 7 inches of grossness. I ate a couple bites and pitched the rest. Gagworthy food & service. Auntie Anne, even on your worst day you’re tons better than that crapp-o Quiznos. Auntie Anne, extend your hours at CMHPLEASE for us evening travelers!

I’m not a huge fan of fast food I’m not a huge fan of Quizno’s I’m not a huge fan of airport fast food that happens to be Quizno’s. But looking for something quick, you do what you have to do. At most airports, the good restaurants are all located outside your gates. I’m one of those people that isn’t comfortable at an airport until I’m past TSA. Once you’re in the gates, the food selection diminishes with the quick style. I had my choices at Columbus B Gates and that choice was Wolfgang Puck Express or Quizno’s. My options are Wolfgang Puck’s was pizza, a high calorie sandwich, beer, and pizza again. At least at Quizno’s, I can create a healthier meal. I ended up getting two bowls. One was sliced turkey and the other was chicken breast. I had both bowls mushrooms and nothing else. The chicken hit the spot and turkey was saved for my plan trip. Both were okay, but good enough to get my protein and calories in. Here’s the plus, total bill was less than $ 8. I’m just a clean eating, money saving machine. I may not be a fan of fast food, especially at an airport. But I am a fan of saving money and eating close to clean as possible.
