I always say that to determine the character of a person or company you do not worry about how they handle things when it’s going well but how they react and handle issues. Today I have had that experience with Ricart Automotive. There was some confusion about getting my plates switched from our old vehicle to our new. When my tags for renewal came it had our old van on them. We called Ricart to see what needed to be done and was met with nothing but an attitude. Instead of working with us to determine how it needed to get fixed(which was not a large job) we were met with accusations and blame. My wife was nothing but frustrated so i took the phone to try to get to the bottom with the simple question of «What do i need to bring to get this taken care of» to which i was belittled by the person on the phone for not taking care of it already. At this point I asked for his manager to which the response i received was«My name is Brad Ricart». At this point i determined that I will never go to Ricart again and i hope everyone I know will never go there for a vehicle. Fortunatly the BMV was nice enough to answer my questions and all I needed was to bring my drivers license. This was a valuable lesson to me and i hope no one else ever has to go through it as this type of situion is frustrating and confusing.
