Ryan Michael Salon

I first saw Ryan after growing my hair out for over a year with no cut. Ryan took on the challenge of giving me a shorter hair cut and did an absoultely amazing job. I have been going to Ryan for the past couple years. It’s basically like going to a private salon, which is part of a residential duplex. Ryan has been working on improving the salon and it keeps looking better and better. It’s a very well decorated space. I am loyal to Ryan because I know each time to he will give the time and attention that a good hair cut deserves. Always a consistent and well executed cut. Lastly, I’ll add that Ryan is extremely professional and accomodating, and makes time for me at the most convenient hour of the day. He’ll even offer me a beer generally, where else can you get that? I can’t say enough good things about Ryan as a hair stylist and if you’re considering a new person, I highly recommend him and his services, which provide real value for a men’s hair cut.

No one else will ever touch my hair again. I love my experience at Ryan Michael Salon so much I will never go anywhere else.
I was visiting family in Columbus and decided I needed to have a color and cut before the family gathering. I looked amazing and proudly marched into my harshest critics (family always is) and they were blown away by my new look.
I am so happy with it (and so is my husband) that I am perfectly willing to make the drive from North Canton.
Ryan himself was a blast, cheerful and friendly. He made me feel completely at ease.
The salon feels so fresh and upbeat. I love the colors and décor but the most important thing to someone like me is cleanliness and this salon is spotless.

I had a few too many beers at the bar after work. I was chatting with this guy and he very forwardly offered up that he had what I needed back at his house. Against my better judgment, I went back with him. I walked into his place & he handed me another beer, we smoked a cigarette, and then he sat me down and gave me EXACTLY what I desperately needed…

Seriously, who picks up a hair stylist at the bar and — at 8pm on a Tuesday after you’ve BOTH been drinking for a loooonggg time — goes to said strangers house for some root touchup? THIS GIRL.
Ryan Michael’s salon is a fab space. I expected a basement corner or something — I had no idea what I was getting myself into, see: beer. But NO! A legit studio in an old Victorian duplex in Olde Town East with teal, orange and tope striped walls. Chic. I posted a couple photos.
We listened and danced to Lady Gaga and Cher, took frequent smoke breaks and crushed a six pack. In between all that, somehow, he perfectly matched the color of my hair to my roots, flat-​ironed The Beast and gave me a terrific cut.
Ryan himself — hilarious. Snarky. Blunt. My kinda guy.
