CRAZY good. So mad that we haven’t been here before! Could eat here again for dinner it was so good! Got the shrimp & veggie tempura bento box and it was a FEAST! So much better than UMI it’s ridiculous.

After many inedible rolls from the other sushi place in town, we returned to samurai in hopes it would be better than we remembered. The price is pretty much the same so I’m not sure why I thought it was more expensive, and the quality is astronomically better! They always give us free extras, like pocky or miso, and the sushi is ready fast. Samurai is our new go-to for Sunday sushi night, and it’s probably our favorite restaurant in town. I’m glad their chef’s hand recovered, we panicked when they were unexpectedly closed a few weeks ago!

If you want good quality, authentic, fresh Japanese cuisine, then no other place in town compares. Expect to wait a little longer than normal, expect to pay a little tiny bit more than usual, but you can anticipate the food to be delicious. If you know Japanese food, Samurai’s menu is the closest thing to actually being in Japan. The Cheese Wontons and the Playboy Roll are a must. You’re welcome.

Samurai is a quaint and quiet little place to get some excellent sushi. I’ve tried just about every roll on the menu, but without a doubt, the sweetheart roll is my favorite. If you go on a date or a double date, be sure to try the Loveboat! It is advertised as chef’s choice of rolls, but if you ask really sweetly, they’ll let you choose whatever you want. And it all comes out on an actual wooden boat! They have some cool rolls that they light on fire just before serving… with bacon and jalapeño. The atmosphere is kinda blah, but if you’re just in it for the food, give samurai a shot!

This place was good. It was quiet on a Friday night. We order some sushi and hibachi, and it all came out almost at the same time, but it was good. The soup was really flavorful and the salad was good and the meat was tasty. Husband loved his spicy crab roll. It was a bit pricy in the end though.

Nice and quite place to get sushi. Friendly place. Good sushi. Looks like a family owned place so service is rather fast. I recommend sushimi with hot sake.
