Sandy’s Used Tires

Incredibly honest and fast. No double talk. Can fix or replace almost anything. Managed to easily fix my tires that Mr. Tire had insisted needed replacing. Their prices are honest too.

I had a really positive experience this morning… I was in need of one used tired (got a flat three days before payday…) and I was able to get a decent (good as far as I can tell!) used tire put on for just $ 35 and they even took the ruined flat off my hands.
They were nice, quick, and did not pressure me to buy anything else.
Would go back!

Got a pair of matching front tires with the rubber nubs still on them like brand new! They do change $ 10 for mounting and balancing. Plus they sell used rims. So I got two basically new Bridgestone tires installed for $ 160 out the door. Not too shabby!

On Friday October 6^th 2013 4:00 pm I went to sandy’s tires to have my front two tires replaced for snow tires, because of the weather change. The owner and the guy who sold me the tires promised me that I was getting the best tires for the snow and that my car shouldn’t slide as i hit my breaks (These tires were considered «new» and cost me $ 150 + tax which made it $ 160 after the owner knocked $ 40.00 off the original price) but later that day while going 15 miles and hour on a 35 mile road called Cleveland avenue, my car slid as I hit my breaks to stop at the red light. In fact it slid and almost hit a pedestrian that was standing on the side walk. I only drove on Cleveland avenue this day to get back and forth from school, and when I woke up the next morning i noticed that one of the tires that i had replaced were already flat (Already flat? and i just got it yesterday) I took it to sandy’s tires the next day to try and get my money back, and I promise that the owner made up a story of me hitting something on the road as the reason of it being flat (I mean even if i did hit something which i didn’t my old tires never went flat If i had hit something on the road). When I approached the owner he told me «why would you drive here on a flat tire?» and «you should of had someone take the tire off and then come up here» He said this like i should had already known, i mean i see people drive on flats all the time to get the car back into the tire shop, and i respond «Well i didn’t know» and then he respond «Everyone has some knowledge about cars this void your warranty» this was really unprofessional as his response and never did it state in the warranty about driving on a flat tire. Although all of this occur he replaced the flat tire with another the had less value and I did not get nothing back. I would never go back to Sandy’s tire nor would i recommend them.
