Schell is a great rental shop. Some of their equipment is a little dated, but they make up for it with fantastic service and a solid variety.
The painting area in the front of the shop where there’s usually a painter working on a scene is amazing.

It’s not likely you’ll ever need to come here and that’s too bad for you, because Schell Scenic Studio is a neat place to visit. If you ever need a huge backdrop for your broadway show these would be good folks to call. You can also rent professional theatrical equipment, lights and stuff. I stop in sometimes to pick up expendables for the LC and it’s always fun, nice people.
